Update June 2022: At the moment the park is only open for day use, no overnight possibilities in the park or in front of the entrance gate.
.....
We arrived late at night and the guard still wanted full admission price (20 soles pp) for us to camp. However, he allowed us to stay out front in the gravel lot for free. No services. Tons of flies.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.

We stayed on the gravel road a few km before the gate. Only one car passed and didn't stop. The next morning we went to the gate and asked about the price. It is 30soles pp and you can enter from 8:00-17:00. We didn't enter.

Report Check-InAt the moment parking over night or caming is forbidden. We talked and argued with the resonsible indigene guard, he let us stay for the night out of sight of the entrance on the gravel road because there are very few secure options for overlanders in this area. It is possible to visit the park during the day but no overnight possibilities.
Report Check-Inthe national park was closed when we get there at 6:30. no guards, we slept there and left in the morning (7:00). quiet, not cold but very foggy. don't know if the park is definitely closed or not. felt safe.
