Description

Several camping options right in front the ocean. Clean and very calm because this place is hardly developed. 1 surf hostel and 1 basic restaurant/bar. No WiFi, no market. One can drive either side on the beach. If you are driving around the restaurant (on the beach) you will find a sandy road which runs very soon between the sea and a river. Nice, windy but no shade. If you cross the river and walk from there around the hill you will find a secluded little beach where turtles are hatching. At least in December. Ask someone from here.
No idea where one will get if driving to the other side of the beach.

Nice and friendly village preserved from the tourists. Lots of space along the beach. Very humid and hot. We stayed for 2 nights.
Normally nice surf there too.
Spoty phone signal with +Movil (more signal on the beach)

Incredible spot, very quiet on weekdays, more lively on weekends, we saw turtles laying eggs and surfing. No telephone network but wifi available with the restaurant next door (besides good and cheap food). After a few days we feel at home! Big rig ok

Gros camping-car ok

Lovely place! The restaurant were so lovely and welcoming. Offered us water, showers, electric and wifi all for free. Camped right on the beach, perfect for surfing. Restaurant food/drinks are cheap and good. Recommend this one. Wish we could have stayed longer.

It is a 5 stars staying, local people are amazing. Sr. Roberto the owner of Jorón Playa Guánico Restaurant is a gentleman he won't charge your stay and offer shower and toilet facilities.
Wi-Fi free usually the power goes out but it's normal in all coast areas.
If you want you can consume in the restaurant well prepared food.
For surfers it's a great wave to learn friendly waves and sometimes gets a good swell getting more powerful. Longboard recommend :p
Just come and talk to Sr. Roberto and enjoy your stay we spent 1 Month here.

Really nice camping options. We had a smalltalk with the lovely owner of the little surfbar and drove then along the sandy road. Found shade under trees where fishermen park their boats. Calm even on weekends.
Sanitary facilities by the restaurant. Bought two icecold beers and softdrinks. Free camping!
