Very nice little campground full of palm trees and calm shady spots ideal for camper vans or tents. There's a common kitchen and a swimming pool. The place is frequented by overlanders and bicycle tourers. The rates are 250 pesos per campsite for one night or xxx pesos per camp for a full week. Mariana, the owner, has a lot of contacts and is always happy to help organise trips to the islands of Loreto's National Park and other adventures in the "sierra".

Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
They are definitely open. Ignore the signs, they are for the bakery. If you can't find someone on-site, send a message through facebook.
Report Check-InGate was closed with sign closed. No one inside, don't know for how long it's closed.
Report Check-InExactly as described, very nice campground. A breath of fresh air compared to the three RV parks downtown (Bajazul, el Morro e Romanita).
Report Check-InTHESE GUYS ARE OPEN!
Great little spot a few blocks from the Central District. Not alot of room, standard fullsize truck campers and vans are perfect. Clean bathrooms and HOT showers. Standard 15A 110v hookup. 250 Pesos per night. Host may not be onsite but call the number on Google or Facebook and they'll set you up. Very friendly and safe. Only negative is the roosters in the morning. Can't complain.

I believe this spot is now called Blackbird. Cool spot for live music and good food. The lady also wanted to give free music lessons to the Loreto school children. If in town give them your support.
Report Check-InImportant information: Sign at the office says closed for season. But still some campers to spot behind the padlocked gate.
I waited and then talked to two of the residents. They said, camp is closed for renovation for longer, probably complet year. They were guests for many years and she let them exceptionally stay.
The owner has no staff and don't exactly know what to do with this place. It's not sure if and when it will be reopened.
Report Check-InJust drove by. Has a sign closed for the season. Not sure when the season is.
Report Check-Inthe place is closed for the season 2018. the owners were nice and send us to the town camp. we were the only guests there, nice showers... I guess Loreto ist going to "summer" sleep now....

Report Check-InPrice now is 200MP/night.
Maybe not for big rigs, since the entrance is quite narrow and there is not much space to maneuver inside. We did fine with our truck camper though.
First night of electricity is free, then it costs 50MP extra. Bring an extension cord. Wifi was decent at times. The place was ok, hostel kind of vibe we'd say, the owners were not around, instead, some travellers are taking care of the place. The swimming pool was empty due to a water shortage in the area and our last night, the cut the water without noticing us, we had to ask for them to open it again the next morning when we found out! Not cool.
Toilets were just ok at first, but then they didn't empty the trash in 3 days, which was gross.
Bring mosquito repellent. Overall, we didn't really like this place, 200MP might be a bit too much for what they offer.
Report Check-InWe stayed here in our van for 2 nights 150 per vehicle per night. Nice quiet grounds, very comfortable and welcoming. There were only a few people here at a time in tents. Large enough to have your own space. Clean toilets and very cute kitchen if you need! Nice owners and gorgeous resident dogs 😊
Report Check-In150p to pitch your tent on a very nice and levelled area. shade, pool (has no water now) and heaps of roosters next door will make sure you wake up every 40 minutes. beautiful spot indeed and right in the center. must love dogs and cats
Report Check-InNice little place, centrally located (one block from beach, 5 minute walk to town).
As stated, best for vans, tents and cyclists. Some shaded areas from palms trees.
We didn’t use the kitchen as we have our own setup, but it looks well equipped and has a common fridge you can use.
The owner and hosts are really nice and helpful, and all of the other guests were really nice and friendly.
We paid $150MX per night (Rooftop tent with two people).
We actually looked at El Moro first, but it was fully of permanent RVers and didn’t look very overlander friendly.
Would recommend here if you’re looking for something convenient, reasonably priced and with a nice vibe.
Report Check-Inplace is great and it is open. the gate is always padlocked. you need to shout through the gate until one of the guys or ladies will open for you. best place in Loreto for low key travelers with tent, car or rv. shady spots, bath, outdoor/indoor kitchen.
Report Check-InVery nice little campground full of palm trees, calm shady spots, many wild birds and some friendly dogs dogs from the house.
The place is frequented by overlanders and bicycle tourers for new experiences, and Mariana (the owner) is always happy to organise trips to Colorado island and other adventures.

Report Check-InBack open, still sorting out hot water and a few odds and ends but its up and running.
Lots of cyclists already, and some tent campers.
Great communal space and everyone is quite friendly.
paid 150mx for a spot for my van amongst the date palms.
Sounds great, but when we showed up the gate was locked, tried calling the number listed in the Church's book but I think it was disconnected (error message in Spanish I didn't understand). Tried back later in the afternoon but gate was still locked. I don't think it's permanently closed, looked nice through the gate and the window on the building had a sticker that said something about backpackers, maybe they were on vacation? Either way, we ended up staying at Riviera del mar instead.
Report Check-InA local "gringo" showed us this place. Closed for low season but it was 8pm on a Sunday. Small camping place for a car campers and bicyclists
Report Check-InNice quiet spot. 7 USD per night for our car- 2 people - but this could probably be haggled down. The owner Mariana organized a party for us one night complete with grilled tacos, beer and margaritas. Hot showers and decent wifi. Very safe place to leave the car when exploring town.
Report Check-InAtayed 3 nights here. Paid $120/person. Nice campground environment with wi-fi, showers & outdoor kitchen. Somewhat noisy since it is located in downtown area so earplugs are advisable.
Report Check-InThe place is nice. With a good Wi-Fi and kitchen but it's too loud in the night. There are a lot of dogs in the campground and on the neighborhood and they won't let you sleep. Also chickens are loud so if you planning stay here for night bring earplugs with you.
Report Check-InLittle Campground in a nice garden with palm trees. Best for tents and small rigs. WiFi near office. Quite but there are a few roosters in the neighborhood. Walking distance to town centre
