Came to this place and asked a local. He told me to move one block west. So I did and that place looked better and safer being next to a large beach resort. I was woken up 2 AM by the police, who told me it was perigoso to camp here. Talking to me he had his gun in his hand, not pointing at me, but still. Then they said it was tranquilo because they were gonna sleep their night shift in their car 50 meters from me. From this experience and talking to another local, only west of Cambuco is safe to wild camp, Cambuco and east is too close to Fortaleza.
