Report Check-In

It's a beautiful spot next to the beach unfortunately due to disagreements with the government and local land owners it's being temporarily forced to close. The owners are working on a solution but they said it's not looking good.

Report Check-In

Great place with right next to the beach. Warm environment and helpful people.
I booked a site for a camper through this number +56 9 5030 0983 via WhatsApp. Apparently the number mentioned before by some people it’s the owners mobile number.
Hot shower and electricity available at sites.
7.000 CLP per person.
No wifi and 3G and 4G is poor but possible to get with Intermittence.
They make fire some days and you can join if you want.
They also have domes and cabins.

Report Check-In

Very beautiful place with very friendly staff. Hot showers, electricity at site, water to fill up your rig. Directly at the beach. Claro and Entel 3G signal. We payed 5.000 CLP per night and person.

Very nice place, stayed here for 8 nights. Some things you should know - kitchen is basic, don’t expect too much. Very small fridge and only few plates. Same with showers, basic but everything is very clean and you get hot water. They clean everything each 2/3 days. If you want some food, you can buy it in Masi’s cafe or in one of the 10 restaurants in the port.
This beach is perfect for beginners surfers, so you can take some lessons here as well. If you need an English speaking instructor, go a little further from the camp to the house by the skateboarding place. There lives Carla, who was a great English speaking instructor. It costs 15000 p/p to take a lesson (all included).
Do the 4km trekking by the beach, if you have time.
Most importantly, for those who are backpacking and doesn’t have a car - there are only 4 daily busses from Constructión: 9AM, 11AM, 2PM, 5PM. For some reason getting a private taxi is also a problem in this town. I added a photo with one of the taxi drivers who can take you to this place for 4000 pesos. You should just call him.
Even so, this place is definitely worth to visit, it’s super quiet on the week days and people here are great. I was very sad that I have to leave.
Enjoy!

Very nice campground. Beautiful views, right in front of the beach. The owner Masi and staff Sebastian are very friendly and take good care of the place. For them, it really matters that you feel comfortable and have everything you need. Lovely dogs and cats, with many babies at the moment ;-)
For getting there, don't follow maps.me, but go via the center of Constitucion, passing the Copec gas station and the big industrial site.

Report Check-In

When you first drive up it doesn’t look so ideal with the docks and fisheries, so we weren’t sure that we’d stay. But it’s a lot better once you get to the other side.
We could see the surf break from bed, there’s a beautiful walk/hike around the point to the south, and the primo campsite has hammocks and a big table. We ended up staying for the week. There are 4 dogs (2 are super sweet and guarded us at night) and 2 cats; one comes for food and the other comes for hours of snuggles by the campfire and will sleep with you if that’s your thing.
I think there are few campsites this close to the beach for this price in Chile, and we were treated well here.
Washrooms could be better maintained/cleaned but showers are hot.
** head to the docks to buy incredibly cheap fresh fish; also fresh empanadas.

Very nice location. Good for some days rest. Masi and staff very friendly. Cool black beach. 5000cp pP. Only the drinking water is a bit green so test before fill yor tanks...

Report Check-In

Great place. the kitchen is fully equipped with stove and fridge. although the stove does not work perfectly.
very friendly atmosphere. still 5000 for tenting, was on my bicycle.

Report Check-In

Didn't find the place, but nearby fish terminal so crowded that bad overview; impossible to cross if misplaced.

Like everyone said this is an awesome spot to camp and Masi is great. There are three dogs on the property now, two of them are really nice. But already on our first day here we saw the big 2 year old Newfoundland dog bite two dogs on the property, one of them was very badly hurt. To us the dog was very friendly but be cautious especially when travelling with dogs or children.
Very good showers and as clean as it can be next to a beach with black sand. 5000 pesos per person.

Report Check-In

Everything has been said about the place they charged us 5000 per person. Nice and clean hot showers and bathrooms. Friendly people and friendly dogs . They allowed us to stay with our female desexed dog. Nice meals at the restaurant.
The bonus for us was that there is a great place for rock climbing right around the corner within 5 minutes walk. You can choose. Sport trad bouldering . Check raubb site for further information.

Report Check-In

Great place with wonderful view towards the ocean and the piers. Everything true which has been said before, still 5000 peso per person. But not trashy at all nowadays. You drive through the harbour parking lot till the very end and then through 200 metres of sandy dirt road to the end of the bay. We stayed in our camper in front of the domes. Tent spaces and cabanas also available.

Restaurant is open on the weekends, coffee and tea is available everyday now. We stayed two days and also took a surf lesson.

Report Check-In

What a relaxing place to be! Located at the end of the road in a beautiful little bay, so very peacefull and quiet. They keep the place well maintained, the kitchen/living room is a perfect place to relax and forget about time and the showers are hot. You'll have company from the very sweet dogs of the owner, that makes it even more difficult to leave. Paid 5000 pppn.

Report Check-In

We loved Masi's Place and this little bay. The kitchen / cafe has a big deck where you can laze around and watch the surf. Good coffee - Ben (from UK) is helping set up a cafe here. Consistent surf right out the front. Surf school (closed during winter) and skate ramp just around the bay. Can buy fresh fish on the wharf. You can park next to the cafe or up amongst the trees, also places for tents on the hillside in the trees. We don't often pay for camping but made an exception here - paid 5000pp off season (sleeping in our van).

Report Check-In

Good and relaxed spot. It is already off-season and not too many people here.
We are camping here in our Land Rover Defender. 5.000 per person.
Toilets could be a little bit cleaner but still ok.
You can also use the nice indoor kitchen. Everyone is very friendly and as the surf school is closed the guy from the cafe gives lessons if you want some.
Recommended place.
