5500 pppn and 3000 for the car, only cash. Showers are hot, but not the cleanest. When they work, they have good pressure, but pressure isn't always on even during the designated time slot. Wifi is quite slow. Alright stay, but not great.

Report Check-In

It's a good campsite, it has a separate place for tents, cars with or without a tent and motorhomes. It has a very hot shower with great pressure from 9am to 1pm and from 4pm to 8pm. It has grills and in the motorhome areas it has water and electricity. Good Wi-Fi near the administration. On 04/03 it costs 5500 ARS per person and 6000 for the motorhome. For cars the value is 3000.

Very nice and quiet camping site. The anonima and the center are very close. There IS free hot water AT thé YTP next to the camp site. WE paid 5,5€ when WE were there per person in a tent. Thé wifi IS good. Showers are hot. There IS a lot of parillas. We highly recomend.

Current prices (which seem to be changing monthly due to the current economic situation) are:
5,500/person
3000/vehicle

Report Check-In

Nice simple campsite with plenty of space across well sheltered lawns beneath trees. No common room. Good hot showers. Wifi decent but only near reception. 5500 ARP pp/pn.

The Camping area is now open! For pricing see last picture.

CLOSED! CLOSED for good. Stopped by today

Report Check-In

Der Platz ist zur Zeit geschlossen. Wie lange konnte/wollte mir die recht unfreundliche Dame in der Rezeption nicht mitteilen.

The place is currently closed. How long the rather unfriendly lady at the reception could not/wanted to tell me.

Report Check-In

nice place, better then others nearby. bathroom could be cleaner but is okay. the mamacita in the reception is very kind. IT HAS GOOD WIFI! close to center also

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Good facilities, decent price. 2.000 per person, and a separate fee for the truck camper. Very conveniently located in the middle of town.

Report Check-In

We were staying behind the nearby YPF station and needed a shower. The campsite offers shower-only (really hot, as others stated) for ARS 500 per person (unlimited time). Fair price, we thought, specially comparing to the YPF outside town (ARS 700/5mins).

Report Check-In

As described. Really hot water. They warn you about as you check in. The surprise was that in one women-shower hot water was the right tab and cold was left. So be careful when you want to take a cold shower. Very friendly owners, mother and daughter. Stayes for 2 nights. Paid 1500 pp and 1500 for the car with rooftent.

Report Check-In

Camping with 2 people + tent:
The camping area is in the end of the terrain. It allows as much as 20 tents. The area is very well protected from wind and very quiet, we slept there for 3 nights very well.
Bathrooms are OK, they are cleaned 2 times a day.
Showers are scorching hot, i mean if you don't open some cold water they will melt your skin.
Wifi non existent.
Electricity is there, but very few sockets.
Parrilla is allowed only for partners in the club (the camping is a club), tent dwellers can't use it.

Report Check-In

Camping muito bem localizado e familiar. Pagamos em 04/01/2023 - 1.500 por pessoa e 1.000 o carro por dia (não foi cobrado a barraca). No terceiro dia o carro não paga.
Água quente 24h. Wifi não funciona. Banheiros devem ser melhorados, pois havia apenas 2 sanitários disponíveis (tanto no feminino quanto no masculino).

Report Check-In

site is closed and Looks very rundown...

Report Check-In

Cheap and ok. WiFi works good at the main building. Toilets and showers not the cleanest but what can you expect for this price right?! Lot of wasps around. A type of sticky stuff
falls from the trees and after one night we had to clean our whole van. Wasps liked it a lot as well ;) Owner of the camping offers window cleaner to clean. Close to restaurants and bars.

Report Check-In

Buen lugar, sin embargo los precios en el mes de febrero son el doble que antes. En la noche los puestos con luz permanecen encendidos lo cual puede molestar a los que no duermen profundamente, mejor montar carpa un poco más lejos.

Report Check-In

New high season prices since February 1st : 250 pesos pp and 150 pesos per car. Still worth it as there is hot water 24h and you are very closed to the center to go by foot (great to get wasted in the cervezeria La Zorra).

Report Check-In

Had a shower for 50pp. Not the cleanest but very hot. Would recommend!

Report Check-In

Good place, quiet when we were there. 200 ARS per person/night and 100 for car. Showers great, bathroom overall a bit dirty but ok. Even hot water at tabs outside for clothes and dishes.

Report Check-In

Nice central campground: showers are ok, you can fill up water at the entrance. Internet is quite slow.

Report Check-In

Nice, chill camping. Much space. Lights, electricity and a grill on each carspot. Separate field for tents only. We paid 200 pp plus 100 for the car. Close to the city centre. Many trees which breaks the wind. Quiet night. The bathrooms are not the most modern buildings but they are clean and there is warm water. Totally advice this camping!

Report Check-In

2 nights here, camper van. I liked the place, tons of room for camper vans and bikes with tents. Each spot has its own table and grill and land power... unfortunately no common area or kitchen. Cleaning lady on duty all day, place still smelled a bit funny. Serious water pressure and 24/7 boiling hot water with huge tubs to wash your clothes. A few dogs, but this is one major dog town.
Negative: WiFi sucked so bad, connected but never any internet. A lot of bars in town were the same. Seems to be an Argentina thing.

Report Check-In

Very close to town, so very accessible for shops/restaurants/bars (large Anonima supermarket about 5mins walk). 200 pp and 150 for the vehicle per night.
Busy but not bursting and clean if a little old municipal toilets and bathrooms. A few barking dogs but overall and quite and safe spot. WiFi didn’t work at all.

Report Check-In

the WiFi is basically non existent. once connected, it can't even handle a Google search. the shower handle kept falling off. the couple that run it are nice. I paid 700peso for one person, one car, two nights.

Report Check-In

Central location opposite Police station.
Tent area is a little overgrown but we'll sheltered from sun and wind.
Electricity at sites and piping hot showers 24hrs a day.
WiFi is flaky. It works if you can get a connection but drops off randomly.
200clp per person per night. Motos free Cars 150clp.
Friendly staff.
I stayed for 5 nights. Not too noisy.

Report Check-In

Campsite small and at the moment quite full. Showers are great, toilets clean, wifi slow to not usable, friendly lady and very close to town. We enjoyed it for a couple of days. Playground is over the bridge (not on site).

Report Check-In

you can have a great pressure super hot shower for 50pesos pp even if you dont stay :) campground seems nicely located for nightlife, might be a bit loud though (its sat 4pm atm and people are starting their parties already). we didnt sleep here so cant comment how it might turn out at night

Report Check-In

I stayed 2 days. Safe and quiet place. tent 200pp and cars 150pp. Here there is police training as well

Report Check-In

It’s quite nice small campsite, hot shower, slow WiFi. We paid 200 pesos per person/night + 100 pesos for car although there is written 120 pp.

Report Check-In

Now 200/adult + 100 for motorhome. Kids under 12 free. Bathrooms clean but a bit run down. Showers hot and heavy pressure. Wifi on and off, not so good to work.

Report Check-In

We had to pay 200 pp for one tent, we were with motorbikes

Report Check-In

Very Nice and quiet campingsite. Wifi, eletricity, hot water 24hours a Day. After visiting others campings in Town, I notice this is the best of them.

Report Check-In

Terrible place!!! A group of Argentinians were party in the place a night before 2019 New Year . I travel with motorcycle with a tent. When I’m not in my tent my camera bag with lens was stolen. Moreover when I was sleeping in my tent , one of my Camper shoe was missing. Unbelievable, this place is managed by police . The surroundings area are police buildings. ANY Argentinians can be a Thief no matter how good they look ! Be careful !!!!

Report Check-In

Good camping with level sites. Toilets and showers clean. Good water pressure. Outside taps with hot water perfect to wash clothes! 150ap pP and 100ap for camper. Wi-Fi works good but not many persons on camping.

Report Check-In

great little camping next to town centre. all facilities. 150pp. free wifi

Report Check-In

Nice place. Well maintained. Much more space than in the other camping (el ovejero) and cheaper. We paid 150 pesos pp.

Report Check-In

paid 150 pp , camper no priced. after 20:00 pm there's no guards you can take a shower for free... " I suppose "

Report Check-In

I think there's not one pretty good campsite in El Calafate available. One is totally dusty with quite dirty bathrooms or toilets and this one has clean bathrooms and toilets, but without paper! The campsite as itself is quite fine, but a little bit full of dogshit. Additional, we had no problems to leave after the checkout time.

Report Check-In

I don’t recommend staying here. When we were there it was very packed with drunk people partying all night long with loud music. There were some guards around but they didn’t care. A lot of dogs around as well that make a lot of noise. No common area but at least hot showers with good pressure. Overall quite dirty (also quite a lot of trash on the camp ground). The staff was not really friendly and the WiFi was not working at all. Price was 120 pp in a tent. They told us check out is already at 10:30. Seems to be well protected from the wind.

Report Check-In

Expensive, old campsite but offers convenience of being 5 minutes walk to center. Showers n toilets are clean but unfortunately just very run down and if campsite is busy may turn in to repulsive. Cost was high for foreigners 120pp+80 for motorhome and despite pushing no discount. Wifi only near reception. Quiet night.

Report Check-In

120pp for motorbikers. Not a super nice place, bathrooms are very basic and in general a lot of rubbish around. Anyhow, super close to center and excellent wind protection.

Report Check-In

not sure why this campsite is getting such good reviews. the bathrooms are quite dirty and there's generally quite a lot of trash lying around. the price is 120pp at the moment, which is quite high for what you get: a place in an okay place. upsides: a million (outside) power sockets and the internet's working fine if you stay close to the reception. it's also very close to the city centre.

Report Check-In

We have selected this place after reading reviews and bc it was late and was the cheapest. Have not seen other campsites but this I would not recommend. Better pay more! Was 120pp with tent + 50 for usual car.
Positive: a lot of space, electricity at sites, place for bbq, protected from wind, water is hot.
Negative: it seems the campground was built in the previous century. Wifi is very average if couple of people using. But bathrooms are the worst. They seem washed but they are not clean for sure! And no toilet paper!

Report Check-In

Nice place. Good wind protection.
Best shower in town

Report Check-In

It is very well located to one side of the main street, good internet, hot showers, and lots of space for camping. The camping is next to the police station, the street is very quiet and at night the campin is super quiet the staff is very friendly ... I love it! They charge 100 pesos/person and 80/camper

Report Check-In

beautiful campsite with hot showers and clean bathroom. electricity and water. good wifi. 100 pp and 70 per motorhome or 50 normal car. kids under 1o for free. if they increase the price tell them about this app and they will keep the price. may get busy in February because of the lake festival

Report Check-In
