i was there today, no sure sbout night time but very nice during the day. there are two faucets for water, so you can fill up. just as you exit oarking, they are low, geassbhight and to your right
Bel endroit tranquille. Aucun service disponible.
Report Check-InStayed overnight. No no parking sign. The place is quiet and peaceful.
Report Check-InWe are surprised to read the last comment. We spent 3 nights (not the day) here and nobody said us something (we saw a person working for the city and nothing).
No no overnight sign and opened barrier. Too bad for people who want to visit the city and enjoy the park.
We stayed here a few nights and had no problems, but it seems they are changing the rules and no longer allowing overnight parking. Last night they went up to each of the 5 van dwellers and told us if we did not leave then the police would be called to escort us out. really unfortunate as there really aren't many options in the area.
Report Check-InStayed two nights on canada day weekend so it was really full, about 12 motor homes stayed the night! There is almost no shadow on the parking lot except on the left side (when entering), there you have shadow almost the entire day and most important in the morning! :)
Toilets are open now. There are three options: there are washrooms at the beach (about 5 min walk from the parking lot) and washrooms in the information Center close to the parking (the doors are open but it looks like constructions are going on, still the washrooms are open and mostly clean. Also there is a restaurant and they allowed us to use the washrooms.
The park itself is beautiful and green and you can walk around the lake (takes you about 40 min, depending an how fast you are walking)
Park gards advise all RV presents, that this parking is closes after 22:00. We all decide to change place.
A vos risques.
We stayed 2 nights, no problem. 2nd night, 3 RVs with us. Toilets at the center are unavailable, the ones at the « beach » are still closed, the season has still not started yet ?!?! And yet the parking is full from the morning til the night.... no drinking water as well, there is a tap near the entrance of the parking (on the left side), close to the floor « eau non potable ».
as per previous, excellent spot, well situated lots of space. quiet at this time of year.
Report Check-Inmassive place at a really nice lake, busy during the day and not exactly quiet at night but really nice and safe, other RVs staying too. perfect location, you're in Ottawa really quick with bus 400, Carrefour in walking distance, proper toilets around the corner
Report Check-InWe had a good stay here. There were many other RVs too. I would recommend staying at the North end of the lot as there are morning delivery trucks on the South end that are a bit noisy.
Report Check-InGood spot for a night. Close to town and surprisingly quiet - even on a Saturday night. A few other campers.
Report Check-InHuge parking by the lake . Very quite.
Stayed here 2 nights
Perfect
Bus 200 or 400 to town ( 3 min from the parking place)
Very nice place at the lake. 6 km to Center of Ottawa. If you don't want to walk, you can take the Rapibus 400, 5 minutes from site. There is a good Restaurant at the parking area with fast WiFi.
Report Check-Innice place for a night, nice swim in the lake or run around it. other campers around too.
Report Check-Inwe saw a couple spots to stay around Ottawa but this is by far the best. perfect swim in the morning. real toilet around the corner, about 50 minute walk into the center.
Report Check-InNice quiet place to stay. Lights on all night and a few other campers around. Lots of mosquitos though!
Report Check-InAs described, perfect for a night or 2. Others RVs. FREE. But no restroom, it was close.
Report Check-InPerfect place to stay! some food and beverage shop are near by! Lake is great and it's quiet
Piste cyclable, baignade.
