Something not right?

Description

Not a bad place to stay along Playa Hermosa. There's room for one or two vehicles almost right across from the hotel, under the trees. The site feels better than some along the road which are pretty secluded given that this site is so close to the hotel and thus feels a bit more secure. Although it's close to the hotel it's not directly across from it and is therefore out of sight from hotel staff. We stayed on Sunday night and it was quite quiet.

The hotel has a restaurant and has open wifi at the restaurant (but the signal didn't reach the vehicle. There's also bathrooms in the lobby but we didn't use them.

Big rigs probably won't fit under the trees.

Beautiful beach. We slept here in our van for 7 nights, very calm. We cooked in fire, no problem.
Only surfers.
Lot of shadow, close of playa hermosa town if you need something.

A bunch of easy pull offs before hitting the paved access to the community. Parking spaces with shade and direct access to an endless beach of sand and surf. Excellent birding and iguana viewing (across the road is a large wetland). Good for van or jeep camping. Expect it to be busy during the day, especially if surf is up for local boarders. At night, the place is quiet except for rolling surf. Felt completely safe. Zero services; didn’t check out local hotels or restaurants.

Beautiful spot. Quiet at night except for the waves. surfers showed up just before 6AM, not noisy, just car doors closing.
I stayed for 3 nights. Weekend surfers came in groups and consequently made more noise.
I ate at the hotel restaurant and used the bathroom in the lobby.
Two macaws visited the tree right next to my van every morning. photo attached
There is even a cold shower in front of the restaurant/hotel.

super spot mais nous venons de recevoir la visite de gardes forestiers qui nous ont indiqué qu'il était interdit d'y passer la nuit (à partir de 6h du soir).

Great spot with shade and quiet at night. Security from casa tortuga walks around at night, felt safe.
