Rundown facilities, from the 2 available toilets one is out of order, second one is not flushing. No owner seen and the weekend before Christmas we are the only guests. Very dirty beach. Don't waste your time to visit this place,.(our opinion it's not worth)

Report Check-In

Price was 400hnl eventhough we didn't need electricity. Breakfast was good but a bit costly, 240hnl for two people.
The female owner came across quite busy but other staff was really friendly.
Otherwise nice and as described.

This Is a very nice hotel which except overlanders. We stayed here 3 nights. It was beautiful. For 300L per night we had electricity, we were allowed to use one of the brand new clean bathrooms, use the swimming pool and had access to a super fast WiFi. The food at the restaurant was delicious too. We really enjoyed drinking some German beers. The hosts are super friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

Ok, an alternative to Casa Aleman is Casa Kiwi. Around the bay before Puerto Castillo. Sign marked from road. Way nicer vibe, super nice family runs the place. L150/person. Kids free. Groups more than 2 ppl negotiable. Camping close to the beach, next to covered tables and electricity. Outdoor showers and toilets close to camping. Restaurant and bar. Also rooms 450, cabins 1000. Sorry, this info is on Casa Aleman location but I couldn't add a place after the fact...also, super good couch surfing host in Trujillo!

Camping for 200 with my motorbike. Good food and nice people. Was the best option I found in town...

Warning: super high prices Do not include taxes, which are another >20%!! Way more expensive than other comments suggested. Owners very nice but prices are absurd. 500l for 2 servings of mediocre frozen fish. Camping was charged at 400 per night instead of 300l we were told. Didn't fight over it, just leaving with a bad taste in our mouths. Had high hopes for the beach but it was severely unimpressive with murky water and a lot of glass in the sand. Nice owners but Would definitely not return and would not recommend making a trip here unless it is on your way. Road from la ceiba is exhausting with nothing interesting along the way (for us, anyway) and ENORMOUS pot holes, be careful!

Spent a few days here and really enjoyed it. Nice beach, nice owners and great food. The best part: German Wheat Beer HEFEWEIZEN.

Good place, right on the water. 300L per night and you get use of pool, sink, hot shower, and plug in. We tried to bargain down to not use electric but he wouldn't budge. Walking distance to a fun jungle hike with waterfalls!

Gunter is a warm eccentric host. 300l per night with electric, laundry available 100l per load, internet was pretty good. Restaurant had plenty of interesting import beers, and the food was excellent especially the homemade German sausage.

Parking lot of a hotel complex at the Caribbean beach. Hot showers, clean toilets, free WIFI, pool. Very good restaurant. You even get German beer and you can buy fresh baked white bread and from Germany imported dark bred from the german-honduran owners Gunther and his wife Rosa! Big Book Exchange with a wide selection of German books. Long beach walks possible. In the resort there is laundry service for 80 Lempira / machine.
