Latest Check-Ins

Not sure what happened in the last week, but major 28 days later vibes. I showed up and no one was around, office locked, all hotel rooms looked like a hurricane just blew through and the pool had a solid layer of scum and leaves on top. I hope whoever works here is okay!

Report Check-In

Well located for visiting Campeche, either by collectivo or cab. We paid 400 pesos per night for two people, too expensive for the services offered. We didn't plug in the electricity, three out of four sockets burnt out, however we were able to drain near the soccer field opposite. Both mornings, Saturday and Sunday, we were awakened at 6:30 and 6:00 by dog classes and dog agility on the campsite grounds. Avoid weekends

Report Check-In

Great Location between a park and a road.
Electricity and water.
Swimming pool on site (usable I specify;-)
The Dump Station is across the street (where there is the water park which seems to be abandoned), ask the Gentleman of the reception of the campsite.
It’s just a pit, no water to rinse.
400 pesos a night

Report Check-In

400$ for a Van. Not really worth it.

Quiet night, but close to the street. The shower is working, but one of the worst we had in México.

Report Check-In

Can confirm other comments. Rather expensive at 400 pesos compared to other stop-overs, but not much choice in the area and good location for access to Campeche. Sewer is on the other side of the road, in waterpark area. Check beforehand.

Report Check-In

update: Telcel signal mostly only H+, very bad.............

Report Check-In

Can NOT recommend this place!
400$ for 2 with a CamperVan.
No Water works for the car, No wifi, dirty bad shower

Report Check-In

$400 pesos. Not a bad stop. The water park is only open Saturday and Sundays 10-6pm. we arrived here on a Saturday and we’re given wristbands for the water park at no extra charge. It seems like the side where the RVs park is kind of abandoned, but a worker from the water park showed us a spot with electricity and water. Seems overpriced for what it is especially if it is a weekday

Report Check-In

$400 per night. Water was on when we arrived - off this morning. Did not connect to power. Fast ATT cell signal. Pool was clean. Traffic noise made worse by cars accelerating after tope. Very noisy dogs at night. Friendly staff. Safe location. Water park closed at this time (Carnival?)

Report Check-In

really nice place, quiet because we are parked at the to of the hill, near the villas. we are safe and invisible from the street. the owner is very nice and welcoming. 400 pesos for the night. restrooms and shower open 24h, nice pool. big rigs need to stay near the street but our van made it on top in the back. I recommend this place.

Report Check-In

super friendly. we dont stay overnight as we continue travel. but we needed a shower after the calcethok caves. they agreed to 20 mxn per person for a shower. bathroom was clean and the whole place looked well taken off. there is a huge field for parking also big riggs and some parking places have electricity

Report Check-In

Not the nicest place, close by the road. Pool was not clean. Bathroom ok, shower only in the ladies bathroom. Expensive for what you get, 400 pesos for a rig

Report Check-In

400 for a truck camper, electricity available and water. When we left we were going to fill our tank but the water was turned off. It was on the night before.

Report Check-In

Just checking in here as it’s been a couple of years since anyone did. We arrived just as it was getting dark. Jumped in the pool at night and was able to plug in to some electricity as it was hot! Very pleasant night after a day of driving and running errands in Campeche. We paid 400 pesos for Truckcamper with hook up and family of three.

Report Check-In

Noisy, soundy, we pay 300 per campervan.

Report Check-In

We echo the other comments here. $400 pesos per night for the site with electric. We were the only ones here (possibly at all - we didn’t see anyone at the hotel either). The bathroom in the office was available 24/7 but you had to find the guard sometimes to let you in.

There was a cold handheld shower in the woman’s restroom but not a real stall or curtain so washing up was a messy affair - otherwise restrooms were nice.

The lawn was beautiful and the location great. Price included use of pool. WiFi wasn’t great out on the lawn.

Report Check-In

Stayed 2 nights. 400 pesos for two adults with a pickup camper incl. electricity. Nice pool. Bus stop to centro right in front of place. Showers in the reception.

Report Check-In

We are one of two rigs in the park over Easter Holiday weekend. Office is closed for weekend but security guard has let us in to set up camp. Right next to road and across from aquatic center.

Report Check-In

I agree with everything the others have written except they insisted we pay $400 because we are long. We were the only people here. We checked the electricity it was open ground and 132+ volts. The WiFi was only available in the office however our booster worked. We only stayed because it is now the only place for larger vehicles. The grassy site is flat and easily accessible. On bus route to town.

Report Check-In

Please note that the campground is NOT at the Kin Ha Aquatic Park (as per C&C book). Rather, it is right across the road at the EcoVillas Kin Ha Hotel. Look for small white security hut at entrance. Very nice, especially the pool. However, electricity only available for one or two rigs though lots of parking for others. Also, water supply is iffy and you might need to bug the office about that. The dump station is across the road in the big field area adjacent to the AquaPark - you will need someone to show you the exact location. 400 pesos per night though our neighbours paid 300 with no services. Easy to take bus to market or centro and then explore fabulous Campeche. To come back, look for SiglaXX1 collectivo at the market. Good wifi.

Report Check-In

we are the only customers ....as described. tell them to turn the water on . electricity only in one location. we figured out the taxi riding and loved Campeche at night. see my slide with the taxi companies to call or have the office call. ride to Centro historico was less then 50 pesos.

Report Check-In

Expensive, $400MX per night! Not really worth it, but it is the only place in town if you have an RV.

Report Check-In

The owners dog is chained in front of the lobby where you must enter to checkin. The bad dog bites customers. We have had a bad experience!

Report Check-In

The price is set at 20 us$, so we had to 400, which is very expensive. However, we had the pool just for us. There is a cold shower in the restroom of the reception and internet is quite fast, even far in the field. The water park is closed until the end of the Campeche Carnaval.

Report Check-In

This is a huge grassy area with some shadow under the trees. There is one shower at the reception. The pool is very nice, we were the only ones here. You can have electricity at some places, wifi is available. For a family it is great, four persons for 380pesos. The kids have a lot of space to play in the little "forrest". The owners dog was at a leash all the time. Campeche itself is a very nice town. A taxi into town is 50pesos.

Report Check-In

Here's the latest... 380 pesos per night!!! The camping area is in the grassy field on the property of the hotel, across the road from the Kin Ha water park (same owner). There is a pool here (at hotel) that is quite nice although small, but the owner strict about use between the hours of 10 - 8. Your camping fee does NOT include admission to the waterpark (if open)
It is possible to plug in, if you park in certain spots, under some of the light standards there are outlets.
No water at 'sites', only in the reception area.
Apparently, there is a continental breakfast included for the price. Will see in the morning if that materializes. There is wifi included, but the signal strength is poor.
The young guys that were working reception when we arrived in the evening were very helpful/hospitable, despite giving no room for negotiation on the price. The owner was less so in the brief moment that I met him and asked to use the pool after 8pm (there were no other guests in the hotel).
***There is a dump station (Sani-dump) beside the kin-ha waterpark (across the street from the camping area). It is a concrete structure with a concrete lid that has a metal loop to remove lid. No water for tank flushing.
My opinion: 380 pesos is too much. We arrived late due to a run-in with corrupt cops in champoton, otherwise we'd have gone elsewhere.

Report Check-In

Apparently they just raised their prices to 380 pesos a night. When we inquired about this change they wouldn't budge on the price. Completely overpriced as it is a grass field next to the road.

Report Check-In

A well kept big grassy area. Confirm all information already mentioned. But the price increased to Pesos 380.- /night per car.

Report Check-In

plenty of space, just drive on the upper grassy field there it is much more quiet

Report Check-In

it is right across the street from the balneria. If you come from el centro, you have to go past the Kin Ha aquatic centre, then make a U turn and enter before the villas. Paid 250p. Pool is very nice; it's behind the office and bathrooms are in reception area. confirm only one cold shower in men's. very clean. There is road noise but that's why we all carry ear plugs, right? Wi-Fi slow and spotty

Report Check-In

The trailer park is at the Eco Hotel across the street from the Parque Aquatico. Camping on grass next to hotel, electricity and water at some sites. Nice pool, friendly staff. Dump site at the Parque at the end of the bathroom.

Report Check-In

The camping has been moved across the highway to the east.
Open field next to the Kin Ha Ecovillas.
Electricity & water at some places in the field.
Lots of road noise.
Clean bathrooms but only 1 shower in mens room.
250 pesos per night.
Wifi worked well after getting on the proper router.
Swimming pool was nice.
Plenty of space for a big rig.

Report Check-In

250 pesos; ungrounded electricity; water and dump station. Decent option.

Report Check-In

The waterpark is closed. They asked 250 Pesos a night to stay in a grassy field beside the hotelreception near the road. We left.

Report Check-In

A water park with a field next to it that you can camp in. Full hookups, but no one was here when we stopped. We opted for the smaller park in town.
