When you pull in there are many different roads crossing all directions; flat and private spots in every direction. Pretty quiet but I can hear 395 in the distance; if it was a problem I could go further away, but it’s not bad. 4 bars of Verizon LTE. Recommend for the night.

Report Check-In

Take the rd that goes by the Dirt Diggers Campground sign. Lots of open flat space on side of road. Far enough from highway that there’s minimal noise. Perfect.

Report Check-In

Stayed the night of Christmas. There is a huge, flat, gravel area to the right of the main road, maybe a half a mile in. Any vehicle can make it. In case you arrive at night, Google "The Football Field OHV" and maps should bring you to the big, open camping area.

Fire rings. Faint highway noise that I couldn't hear inside the van. Full 5G bars on Verizon. Was Christmas night, but still, I had the place entirely to myself.

This is a dirtbike playground! great spot, tons of room & easy for any vehicle from a honda civic to any size RV. Stayed 3 nights. Gorgeous sunsets surrounded my the hills & mountains!full bars 5G on verizon. bigger dirt bike camps set up & a few trucks towed in porta-pottys(usually not here) seems to be a little event this weekend.

Open flat space at OHV park right off Hwy 395 between Randsburg and Ridgecrest. We are here for the Biltwell 100 dirtbike race. Good cell service. No water or electricity. Other posters have mentioned porta potties, however I only see those that have been brought in for the race. Plenty of open area with beautiful views of mountains. Open sky and little ground light makes it great for stargazing.

Great area! Go a bit up the road from this waypoint. Tons of open space to camp. Porta-potties also. Very quiet here on a Sunday evening.

Report Check-In

Good Spot, no trees for shade. Quiet when there are no ATVs. 15 minutes from Ridgecrest which has multiple stores and restaurants. ATT service good- 3 bars. No water or toilets. Flat ground, low clearance non 4x4 should be fine.

Report Check-In

Good place to stop if you’re tired and want to stay on 395.

Report Check-In

Huge area. Many tracks. Firm packed sand. Easy access for all rigs. No wind or sun protection. No designated camp spots. You can camp (and play with your quad or whatever) anywhere. Now in winter, almost nobody there. Quiet.
