150$ ppn - for nothing. We didn't stay...

Report Check-In

Recomendamos

Report Check-In

Very nice place, sublime, 150 pesos par person pour camper, eau et possible pour électricité. Boat tour, resto.

Report Check-In

The camping area is no longer available ! (The nice grassy area on the picture)
Now it's the parking lot... not great...
150p/p and full of car all the day.
The two young men at the entrance are not friendly !
We didn't stay.

Report Check-In

The actual camping area isn’t great, but the lake access is perfect. Park closer to the lake rather than the road - we made that mistake and had trash and sewage smells all night. Payment was confusing, as the younger guy who charged us was flustered and forgetful. We ended up paying just 150 pesos for two people for one night!

Report Check-In

nice location by the lake, but very very basic campgroung.
with vans you stay on the parking lot which was crowded during daytime and very muddy.
facilities very basic and very dirty.

it seemed very expensive for what you get !
camping.fees :
adults and kids above 8 yo : 100 mex pesos per person
kids between 4 and 8 yo : 50 mex pesos
kids under 4 : free

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Not a bad place to be, we didnt want to stay more than one night but it was pefect for what we needed out of it. Great being able to jump into the lale first thing in the morning before it got crowded and the music started. Would stay here again.

Report Check-In

Probably the best part of the lagoon to be at, next to two cenotes and with estromatolitos just in front. As described earlier, music is the only issue during the day until 18:00. Then really quiet. Nice people, good vibe.

Report Check-In

Nice spot on the lake. People are nice. Facilities really basic. We used our own toilet and empty it in theirs. There is just one problem here...music. It keeps going the whole day. It stopped at a decent time but it started again at 7:30. It was the boy at the gate. The same boy who tried to charge us camping fee and entrance fee. The mother confirmed we only had to pay the camping fee.

Report Check-In

Nice clean spot, lagoon front, perfect for swimming, little noisy on weekends

einfacher Platz direkt an der Lagune. Toiletten riecht man an den Stellplätzen. 100 P.pP.

Report Check-In

Nice camp spot on the lake. Toilets and shower but no wifi. They charge extra for large rv's. The water is absolutely gorgeous.

Report Check-In

It is currently midnight and there are 10 tents of people trying to sleep while the owners listen to music on their PA speakers and hang out over drinks. A beautiful location but the camping experience has left a bit to be desired

Report Check-In

We had the flattest spot to park then we have had in a while! Right under a tree! Lake and views are wonderful, water temp was perfect. Light breezes all day. We were there Saturday And Sunday and it got busy with day users after 11am, across the lake there were some big loud party's, all was quite by late evening. Sunday was silent. Quite mornings. Clean bathrooms with toilet paper. That's a luxury in Mexico! We enjoyed our time here and will be back for the crossing into Belize in a month. Great place to meet other Overlanders. Kayak rental was 100p for two ppl in a double kayak.

Report Check-In

100 pesos pp and you get smelly toilets without a door or toilet paper, no flat spot to park, no shade, an overly expensive restaurant, loud 80's disco music, and noisy workers at 7 am to seal the deal. But they're very nice... The real Mexican experience.

Report Check-In

stayed here one night (wanted to stay 5 in the beginning but moved to Yax He)
wanted 200 mex per night , dirty, loud, no wifi
but super friendly people

Report Check-In

Lovely place, one of the best at the coast. There is a faucet to fill up water.

Report Check-In

Very nice place at the lagoon south of Bacalar, swimming between the stromatolites, toilets, cold shower, restaurant, nice owners. Pesos 100,00 p.P.

Report Check-In

excellent location, $100 pesos per person to sleep in our van. well worth it. great place to kayak $100 mxn for kayak rental for 2 hours.

Report Check-In

A paradise !!! 100 pesos per person per night. No hookups. No dump station. Shower and toilets. Small Restaurant. Kayak for rent. The owners are very friendly.

Report Check-In

Schöner Platz, aber sehr einfaches (dreckig) WC und Dusche. 100 Peso p.P. Nicht für Hundebesitzer mit Rüden geeignet, da freilaufender Campingplatzrüde der sein Revier leider zu Recht verteidigt.

Report Check-In

Such a great spot! Clean grassy area, quiet at night (during the day it attracts a lot of families), and a great place to swim. $100 pesos per person/night when we were there. No wifi but we just went down the road to a hotel and used theirs. You can also rent kayaks so we took one out for 4 hours and saw all the same places you would see on the expensive boat tour. (300 pesos for 4 hours)

Report Check-In

Great place even if the restrooms and showers are very basic. M$140 for 2p

Report Check-In

beautiful spot, with the most beautiful place ti take a swim. toilets and shower ok.

Report Check-In

Nice campground in front of La Laguna Bacalar. Great view. Restaurant, showers, restrooms, kayak rentals. 100 pesos per person.

Report Check-In

$70 pesos per person. Very tranquil during the week.

Report Check-In

Beautiful place for swimming at Laguna Bacalar!! A tourboat-guy (said he manage the property after the death of the owner...!?) asked first 200, we paid 150 Pesos (2p, truckcamper). He said the showers and toilets are working well. They did not - he did not care about the issue and he said he would collect the fee for the second day later at 6pm. He did not come, we were three RV at this time. The next morning, no one was there, we left without paying. Restaurant was closed. We felt that something is strange there (is the site really open? Do we paid the right one?).

Report Check-In

M$70/person to camp. Flush toilets but very rustic set-up. We did not use showers so can't comment on them. The setting is beautiful right on lake. Walking distance to town at just over 1 mile.

Report Check-In

A beaituful site on Bacalar with a little restaurant and boat toars.
