Description
A decent new hostel run by a nice family. Good atmosphere, kitchen, big screen tv with proper cable good for sports, decent breakfast included - bread, jam, coffee, fresh juice, fruit, yogurt, and delicious local puffed grains to make cereal/granola with.
Has secure parking for maybe 2 trucks. Not big rigs. Only one shower unfortunately as the downside. Not an issue if it's not too full. Really nice dog on the property.
A bit hard to find, the big white gate at number 921. Dorm bed costs $10/70bob per night with breakfast included.

Report Check-InWe stayed here 3 nights, we're able to park our Nissan Pathfinder and out friend also parked his Montero inside the gate, there was also a motorcycle parked behind us. $25 USD for a double room. Nice place and the wifi is pretty good. Breakfast was ok. Crusty bread (was really nice), some unripe bananas and questionable looking pawpaw's. There was also tea and instant coffee.
Overall a nice place to stay.

- The entrance gate is BLACK metal with white stone pilars on both sides.
- The passageway to the hostal behind the gate is very narrow. With our Volkswagen combi we were just able to open our doors on one side. So no trucks possible at all. Two cars could fit, a tiny third one possible.
- It is the hostal's policy that you are not allowed to stay in your vehicle overnight so you have to take bed(s) in the dormitory.
- There are a least two showers. One common shower plus dorm number #3 with 6 beds and its own bathroom with shower.
- There is a small garden where you can sit.
- The hostal is close to the yellow Teleférico station of Sopocachi.
