Small RV campground, very nice. Clean bathrooms, showers, laundry. $23 (includes water, electric). Yurts & cabin rental available too. Handicap bathroom/shower building as well. Sites are level and mostly gravel (2 paved). 40ft max RV length. Primitive camping too. Gates closed and locked after sunset without reservation. Lots of hiking.

Very nice state park, rangers were friendly, looks like it should be somewhere else but Florida, with the rolling hills and vegetation. We only stayed the night, we got in late due to a flat. But the old CCC building was a treat, there is an ancient dugout canoe with some pictures of the building process in the 1930s, interesting. A deck overlooks the river as you are on a bluff, we intend to return this year and spend a few nights there.

Well-maintained set of camping sites with water and electrical hookups. About $22/night, but I understand it's less if you have a tent. Super clean bathrooms with showers, and there is some lighting around so you can find your way to the facilities at night easily. Sites are not huge, many are paved (I was in spot 11 which is grass which I preferred). Deep enough for a full-sized RV, of which there were several parked with room to spare.
Friendly, supportive staff. Dog friendly.
The road to it is gravel/dirt for a few hundred yards leading up to it but I had no problem in my 2WD minivan. Easy.
Sounds like there was a big storm there a few years ago and they lost about six months of use after that, but it looks great now. I have been here one night already. January is comfortable, of course, but there's only partial tree coverage, so it might be less comfortable in the warmer seasons.
I arrived after the office was closed at sunset and just grabbed am empty site with no "R" in the slot, then paid up the next morning with no issue at the same office 100ft fry spot.
T-Mobile pretty good coverage, and my SkyRoam was top speed without any cell booster. (I don't know which service the SkyRoam found, but it was fast!)

This may have been a great camping experience before hurricane Michael but now it’s just dusty, hot and miserable. There is no shade here at all. Not worth the drive through the crappy town with one gas station grocery store.
