Description

4x4 only! We couldn't stay here as we dont have a 4x4 drive. We checked it out per foot. Drive on the gravel road to Faro Corona. Near the houses take a left onto a sand/gravel road when you reach the beach you can take path on the left. Its a sandy path. 4x4 a must. The path goes parallel to the beach and tons of flat places to stay overnight. Not a soul around. Lovely place. Wish we could of stayed here.

Great spot, still easy to access but requires 4x4 because the sand is very soft. Many flat spots further down the road along the beach. Stayed two days and nobody bothered us. Quiet and peaceful.

Some trash unfortunately, picked up a full bag of plastic bottles and other trash.

Just added few pictures to give more credit to the place !
(Way better and completely empty compared to the other spot nearby “playa fuerte”)

Incredible spot ! Only 2 mins after arriving we could already see dolphins in the sea ! There might be almost 50 dolphins living here and they spend the day swimming, hunting and playing along the beach. We spent the entire day watching them !
When the weather is not good there is more wind but otherwise quite ok.
To reach a flat spot along the beach a 4x4 is required, but we saw local normal cars reaching spots quite close as well (it seems that they arrive from a track going left directly to the beach, before the normal track ending on the beach)

Great place to camp. Long stretch of beach so you can take you pick of spots. The access is a bit sandy, but nothing too bad. It also gets quite windy, but it seems like everywhere in South Chile is windy.

I saw only a couple of friendly locals all day. A bit of plastic washed up on shore. As always. Let's help keep these wild spots clean.

Beautiful spot. Deserted Beach. 4wd not needed until beach.
Little wind protection.
Watch out if camping or driving on the beach. Tide comes in fast.
Dolphins playing and hunting in the bay.

Great spot in the dunes at a long beach, where you can choose from several spots. We first stayed here for a cappuccino and a sunbath and were accompanied by dolphins the whole time. We came back for the night because this is a very calm and wind protected place compared to the west side of the island - and had dolphins for breakfast as well. While we were here, fishermen came to dried seaweed all around. Indeed 4x4!
