Latest Check-Ins

Large groups with loud music during the day, mostly on weekends. We stayed one night only. I can't justify the price of 600 pesos pp since I turned around from the shower after seeing a local guy using it to pee in it. Waiting for a toilet was not an option I suppose. I'd rather stay higher up and camp in the wild. Not the campground staff's fault. They are active keeping the place as clean as possible. Maybe you'll have better luck. This stretch of road is just too popular and with too many people.

Nice place with nice owner, 700 for 2 pers with rooftoptent. Hot shower and clean toilet. Very, very slow wifi!

Nice camping next to river. Toilets and showers ok. Very friendly owners. 800ap 2P and Camper.

Report Check-In

Overpriced, 200pp and 400 per vehicle. Camping sections with shade, light, water tap and electricity. Some had picnic tables. Rundown, dirty bathrooms, hot shower, no tp, many ants and bugs. There’s a mini market and a pool. WiFi did not work, they said it was because of the rain.

Spent a night here in our truck camper. Paid 800 pesos for 2 people. Arrived in a Sunday afternoon and it was moderately busy mostly with day guests.
Pool is really just a kid pool, baños not very clean, they also did not get cleaned on Monday.
While it is located next to the river there is a berm between the sites and the river so you don’t have the best view.
It is within walking distance to the bike rental, 1.5km which we had in mind.
Picked up our bikes Sunday evening so we could get an early start up the valley on Monday morning.
We left the campground on Monday afternoon to just a fee miles upstream to camp at Rio Azul. This is really a much nicer site with clean amenities.

Camping is open again, we paid 500 for 2 people and rooftop tent.

The whole valley is very touristy, this camping was less crowded than the others. Friendly owner, nice atmosphere. WiFi reaches camp spots in the middle of the camping :).

Temporary closed, the owner is refurbishing the toilets, try in a couple of months (November) we went to another camp a couple of km further :)

Really nice place, not too big, so no big groups like at the other sites further south. As said before, the place and also the toilets are clean. There is also a small pool you can use. We did because it was terribly hot weather. Paid 400 AR for for 2 people and a camper van (kombi).
