The first and (according to the ranger) most important information we received at the information centre was, that overnight stays on Peninsula Valdes are only allowed in Puerto Piramides. All other sites are against the rules.

While we left the official sight of Pájaros, on the way western to the main road 2 we saw the entrance, which has no sigh at all. It looks like a gave-up big campsite. There are some ruine and some trash in view. The trees and bush rows offer very good shelters of wind. There were some long-stay campers, which have "generator noise", but in the night was peaceful. As we arrived occasionally, there was a ANP car in parking area. So it looks also not like illegal to camp here.
Here you have a good view to Isla de los Pájaros. We walked a little bit on the beach while sunset. Those flamingos are really beautiful! When low tide there are more than 500 feeding along the beach.
