Free camping in the middle of the Sand Wash Wild Horse area. No facilities, BLM land. This spot is next to a small natural pond where lots of wild horses and other animals like pronghorn come to drink.

As mentioned earlier, there is a toilet at the beginning of the area on CR67, 0.5 miles from the main road RT318. The specific spot is above a small pond.
There is no protection from the wind here. We came across some stallions on the road to the west, CR48.
They have a nice vault toilet here now at the entrance to the blm area. Still a great quiet stop.

Report Check-InWe slept about 20km back on County road 10 turn off, still BLM land. In the morning we drove here to see some wild horses. We saw about 20 along the road heading to the watering hole. Beautiful!
Report Check-InIt's a nice place. But if you park at the small lake, animal might be afraid to drink. It is also written: do not camp within 1/4 mile of water sources.
