Just wow… this is my favorite spot so far in Central America. Beautiful town. Cheap prices, police passed by 1-2 times a day and spoke English. We stayed here a whole week in our 41 foot 13m skoolie. Had lots of locals stop by to say hello. A local helped me get to Coban and back and even went with me to make sure I made it! Just an amazing little spot. Very level for big rigs and got solar from 8:30am - 4:30 pm

Report Check-Inparked around 7pm and at 8pm friendly local police came and told us we can sleep here, but said it's considered dangerous, they gave us their phone number in case of any issues and told us to park on top of the tiny hill under the lamps. some dogs ran around at night, but it was a calm night
Report Check-InGreat spot to relax before heading on to long hours of driving. We were asked to pay 5Qtz for the van + 2Qtz pp. We slept two nights there, really liked it, apart from all the trash around.

We parked by the little lake. We got there around 6pm and left in the morning and no one charged us for parking. The cops came to check on the van around 8pm and they were really friendly.
