still open. staff was nice. run down, but ok for one night on our way south. not very clean, but secure. showers, toilets, swimming pool was very dirty, staff started cleaning when we arrived. noisy (rooster next to camper from 2 p.m. on...) left quite early. 20.000COP for 4 persons+truck camper.

We spent one night at this hotel, parked at the back next to the restrooms. Very quiet night, the bathrooms are okay, very old but they do the job. The charged us $10k COL for two and the van.

Facilities were quit good. We parked in front of the normal hotel rooms and the lady let us use the shower and toilet of 1 room. Paid 20k for the van. Only bad thing, the lady who welcomed us tried so hard to sell us a room and was not very friendly at all. She almost refused to give us back the spare change because she want to sell us beer (after we already bought 2 beers)

Still 20k. OK place to spend the night in lack of better options in the area. Facilities are a bit run down and not that clean, but doable. The activity starts early here; before 6am the first cars were already leaving and at 6.15 the music was turned on.

Uneventful quiet night here. Pool was clean, felt more like a hot tub but still a nice little treat after driving all day. Bathrooms ok.
Paid 20000 for truck camper and 5000 for pool use. Secure place, niece people.

15 000 cop par véhicule et par nuit avec wifi. Chiens bienvenus. A l’ombre sur un terrain plat près des militaires qui viennent se reposer pour la nuit. En sécurité, l’endroit et fermé et sous vidéosurveillance , calme jour et nuit malgré la proximité de la route.
Parfait pour une nuit car pas beaucoup de spot jusqu’à Bucaramanga ou la côte nord suivant de quel cote vous venez. Équipe sympa, surtout la patronne. Attention au prix des bières, une employé essaye de majorer les prix en prétextant qu’il faut payer la personne qui va les acheter pour eux et vous les vendre après (3500 cop pas plus). Piscine en supplément 5000 cop.

Quiet and safe. Not the cleanest pool but nice for a swim in the heat. Toilets, showers, electricity. We had dinner - pollo a la plancha and french fries and juice - and it was good!

Price increase to 20,000. 5k for pool if you want a chlorine bath otherwise the showers are fine.
BIG rig friendly easy in and out, super friendly and curious military dudes out back.
Electric included in price, need extension cord. Decent stop on the halfway mark, cooked our own dinner after reading all those harsh reviews lol

Great spot for lunch! Very friendly staff and the food was really good. BBQ on the spot. Great plate of pork, salad rice pasta. With soup. With a juice. for 14.000 each.

Great for a night or two, if the pool was available. It was being cleaned. There is a small military house here, and some of the soldiers who stay here took our kids for a walk around the property to see various animals. The group of young men toured our vehicles and were very social.

We paid $15,000 c per night per vehicle, in lieu of chancing a bad meal. Electricity available and included. Bathrooms clean. Traffic noise not as loud as the ducks and geese! Really nice stopover. Wifi password 198522142018

Ok place. Good for a night. Cold showers and flushing toilets. Flat spot. Awesome having all the animals around. Didn't find it loud at all but maybe because it was a week day. Ordered patacones with fresh cheese for 10,000COP (pretty good but didn't dare eat anything else) and a couple beers for 2,000 each. Staff is super friendly!

Nice spot to stay for a night, friendly people, pool, toilet, showers. They had wifi but didn't know the password for us to use. Free if you buy a meal or few drinks at the bar. Seriously, don't eat the food here though, it's terrible. Both the fish and chicken were tough and burnt, the rice was cold and the salad brown, I'd recommend just buying a few beers!

Nice staff. Safe, lots of military stay there. Free to park. Expect you to eat in their restaurant but food is horrible. Allowed us to cook because we said we eat vegetarian.

The guy charged us 30000 for a plate of meat & french fries. Reading all the reviews about cheap food, we didnt quote. Our mistake. After food, he quoted 20000 for camping. We asked why? He said, its because Semana Santa. But the place was the same busy as every Sunday. We paid for the food (that was not good) and left. Too loud, too crowded, NO wifi. We stayed in a parking lot a few kms further for 5000. If we knew, we wouldnt bother to stop there..

Like many places Saturday and Sunday can be pretty loud. Great food, very friendly owners and showers and toilets. Plus a pool to cool off in! Felt very safe.

Still free with a meal or beers. It is more of a recreation area with a restaurant. Lots of animals and wild iguanas.
Meals were 9000cop or 15000cop. We shared 'partido' the 15000 and it was a perfect amount.
Super friendly. Super safe with military living on site.

Very nice place, little noisy at night. Possibility shower, toilet. It's free. But spend some money at the bar! So you give other IOverlander this possibility also. Very nice owner.

excelente lugar....la comida es buena y super abundante y barato .cerveza fría a 2500 cp y la gente del lugar super amable y buen onda. hay pileta , baños y duchas. los militares que viven aquí son muy buena onda y el lugar es extremadamente seguro !

We ate at the restaurant and camped for free. Wifi and use of showers for free. Dogs, cats, ducks....stupid roosters at night!

Very good place to spend the night on the way to or from santa marta! Swimming pool and showers avilable. Just eat a meal in the restaurant (cheap and good) then you can use all the facilities inkl. Good internet!! Lot of space and save! Security all night. I think this is a very good Deal....:-)

Nice place for just an overnight stay. I first (!) asked for a cold beer and then (!) asked if I could stay overnight. No problem and totally free. People are very friendly. WiFi didn't work when I pulled in.

Don't stop here unless you have to. We only stopped here because the car broke down and we needed good wifi. The restaurant had only disgusting hotdogs or the typical boring rice dishes. The owner said if we have food it's free to camp. I wish I could rather pay for the campground and use a kitchen.

After all the comments we had to see. First guy told us 50,000 to camp! Second guy said no, if we eat we stay free, so we ate. Hope this is not the best meal we have in Colombia! It was OK and inexpensive but not that good. The sign advertises fish and seafood but they only had meat last night. I think someone must have shot the cockerel as we were woken by turkey's at 06.30 and the ducks joined in at 07.00 when fed.

Www. lesameriques.net . Arret entre carthagene et bucaramaga, après une route très difficile et longue. Accueil très chaleureux de la propriétaire. Nous pouvons utiliser les structure, elle ne demande rien en échange. Quelques consommation au Resto et c'est tout. Il y a un super wifi. Très bon bivouac pour se reposer après ces route difficiles. Merci pour cet accueil.

Very good overnight place if comming from Bucaramanga. Restaurant/hotel/cabana. You can stay next to the cabana. Electricity available at the shelter in front of the cabana. Wifi. Toilets are basic but ok. All night security.

Friendly people and free to stay in our car for the night plus use of the bathroom and shower. We ate at the restaurant to give back a little. It was a great stop on the way from Cartagena to San Gil.

Just off Highway 45 (100m). A good place to spend the night driving south. They let you stay next to a guesthouse not visible from the highway. Not very quiet at night (animals and traffic) and on Sunday afternoons. Very friendly owner and staff. Camping was free but we spent money at the bar.

We parked well hidden and away from the road next to the restaurant . Super nice staff in the restaurant who were very excited about us and our car. We had the best meal here in whole Colombia and paid very little (42,500 COP for two soups, two entrees, two salads, six beers and a soda). Toilets in the restaurant. Free WIFI. At 5am it is getting loud, but because of the heat you can't sleep anyway.
