Quiet windy place, free, a dirt rad leads up the crater and take a right. The owner are friendly an they just start bilding up a hostel here. Still nothing in construction so fare

Amazing place to camp, I'd say the best with an insane view. After we parked, a man called Concencio that has something in one eye charged $2 per person. However, on the next freezing morning we were surprised by an old lady demanding money and ahe wouldnt believe we had paid. She even came a second time very misbehaviourly. Apparently it is private property.
Report Check-InGorgeous! Enter around 6.30pm no guard nothing, we walked to town for food
Report Check-InFollowed the directions as instructed and reached the marked point. Could not find the sweet camping spot with a view of the Laguna. Road along the Laguna feels a little dicey. Enjoy if you can find it!
Report Check-Inbeautifull spot, gorgeous view!
The road is a little steep to get here, but wonderfull spot.
windy at night. Owner familly ask us 5$.
We stayed at the end of the road (very nice view). We couldn't find the road which leads to this point. After few minutes we found it. There is a parking lot on the left and far the road is a chain and a guy who told us, we have to park at the parking lot. We explained him we wanted to camp in our car in this road next to the crater, then he let us go thru. The access to this road is right behind the parking lot to the right (steep dirt road).
Report Check-InStayed two nights at the most PERFECT spot at Laguna Quilotoa. Best view of the crater lake directly from your vehicle and hidden from town.
Owner of this flat parking spot asked us a little contribution of $3 (for the length of our entire stay).
Sun rises at 06h30, be sure to not miss it.
You can enjoy a cloud free view in the mornings, in the afternoons it covers.
We walked down to the laguna (45min) and came up again (1h).
