Latest Check-Ins

One night stay. We were offered a spot under trees that would not be good in the rain, a spot at the top of a hill with a beautiful view, or two other spots. The first two would not fit a rig much bigger than our Jeep Gladiator. We chose the hilltop (high clearance and 4x4 recommended). Pine needle and fallen leaf floor, beautiful breeze, fog and chilly night (yay), and an incredible view. Donation only—we gave C200. No amenities. There was actually some steady foot traffic because people were working on the cabin next to us. But one lady made and gave me coffee, which is incredible but also the Central American hospitality we’ve become accustomed to. Very quiet at night and in the morning. No food available at the finca. I get the feeling things have changed since COVID. There didn’t seem to be much going on like we read about in older reviews. But everyone was very kind and welcoming.

The meal is 70C now and nothing special. Its bor really a set meal. Coffee or tea and a meal. This place don't have a dedicated space for camper or any other forma of transport. Just a normal driveway. We ate here and where directed to park next to a soccer field slash horse yard. Nice little village. Would not recommend to eat here. Just park next to the school/comedor or drive 30 seconds down hill to the forest. Both sites marked here
