Nice free campground with view on the valey. Small walk to the caves, not worth a detour for it but the view on the top is nice. Hot shower, clean toilets, picnic tables and fire spit. Some locals during the day but we were alone during the night (on saturday). Some trees to protect against the wind.
Update: day use 100 Pesos pp, night 100 Pesos pp. Vehicle is free. We paid 150 Ppp for half a day and the night.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
el parque está abierto y es un buen lugar para quedarse. hay espacios para hacer fuego, baños y mesas. se puede acampar y parar con motorhome. Nos quedamos una noche y no nos cobraron nada.
Report Check-InThe camping area is for tent only, no vehicle allowed. With a camper you have to stay on the small parking area, in high season it might be difficult to find a levelled spot. To stay overnight you now have to pay two days entrance, so 200 pp. Sanitary were clean, and shower warm.
Report Check-InNot free. We visited this place in February and was all free. Now we paid 200 ppp. Is still a great place to stay. They don't accept motorhomes. We could stay in a small van, but they don't allow any more cars in the camping area.
Report Check-InNot free anymore, but still a good value campsite.
You pay 100 Pesos pp for the day and 100 for the night. We arrived in the afternoon, so paid half a day and the night, 150 Ppp. Kids were free (age 4).
Facilities are great and clean. Very quiet, noone else camping (off-season).
Awersome place and for free! water, electricity, great fire pits with several grills for what you need to cook (please keep them still there!). lovely walk to the caves and a great clean hot shower!. we spent several days here. recomendation: make sure to take everything you need becausr there is no market or store for a long distance, buuuuut, if you ask to the ranger of the park or her wife, he can get you fresh pork or lamb from his land...
Still for free. We spent 2 nights at this beautyful place. Hot showers are great! They are building some new cabanas and working at the restaurant building.
Report Check-InStill free and the toilet and showers are in top shape. You can do a short walk past the grotto up to the top of the hill.
Report Check-InWe were alone, BBQ tables, nice view over the valley and super clean bathrooms. For free. They seam to be building new cabanas with pool.
Report Check-InEndroit très calme et très agréable. Accueil sympathique. Sanitaires très propres. Piscine. Coordonnées Gps exactes.
Report Check-InVery quiet and perfect place to stay a few days. You can do rock climbing. We found some routes. But bettet ask the park-guard for more information. There is also a nice way (1.5 hrs up and down) to the top of the hill with his exciting grotas. This place is perfect for kids, to explore and play in the nature for free. Don't be afraid of the dog (Lucy) from the park-guard. He is lovely and keeps wild animals away during the night. ;-) NO Internet. FREE to stay. FREE warm water & showers. FREE electricity on the camping site and in toilets/showers. BBQ Places with FREE wood. FREE sunset moments and view over the whole country site.
Report Check-InNot exact Gps position but easy to find, "grutas de salamanca" are indicated on the ruta 13. Nice free campground with view on the valey. Small walk to the caves, not worth a detour for it but the view on the top is nice. Hot shower, clean toilets, picnic tables and fire spit. Some locals during the day but we were alone during the night (on saturday). Some trees to protect against the wind.
