Something not right?

Description

About 2 kilometers from main road it is just aside Río Pollux, where can be crossed with a bridge. There are flat grassland for at least 3 tents in a small wood, but some trash too.
It rained a lot the day we were there, so we actually not drove our van done into the wood, which was a little bit flooded. We only stayed next to the bridge. There were some traffic like every one or two hours a car, also in the midnight! If in the small wood the sleep might be better.
- graveled road leading there is good even at rain

Not really quite here. A lot of people, one was pumping water in a cistern. Unfortunately a lot of waste here. (It was Monday evening)

Report Check-In

quiet, no sound, clean water, we stayed in a bus and a camper and it fit perfectly

Report Check-In

very nice place for a small van or car with rooftop tent, but I would not like to put my tent here on the ground. lots of rubbish when we were here.
BUT at the end of this place there is a very small path that follows the river, passes a fence and leads to an amazing place! this is only accessible by foot. it's even very difficult to get a bicycle here. flat grass under the trees, clean, wind protected + view over a nice field. this is private property but the owner is nice and even would like to make a campsite here (probably not gonna happen soon). keep it clean!

It’s an ok place to stay for one night if you want to be away from the road and near Coyhaique. There is rubbish around (beer cans and broken glass from beer bottles). Locals come with their cars in the evening to drink and listen to music - 8pm/5am. We were here on a Tuesday night and there were only three other cars so we got to the furthest space near the trees. It’s possible that more people gather on weekends. Even if they party till morning nobody bothered us.

Muy lindo lugar pero lleno de basura, cientos de latas de cerveza y bolsas de basura abiertas. Se ve precioso y tranquilo, pero es imposible dormir encima del basural :(

Report Check-In

good spot for a night, especially if you leave coyhaique quiet late. but we didn't found it super comfy.

Not suitable in winter/after heavy rain. Simply too wet to even park a car. Would be lovely in summer.

Good wildcamp option to stay around Coyahique, as described before, very close by to town, but far enough from the traffic. Cross the stream for grassy camping options. Great location if you need to get stuff done in town. Big rigs may struggle to get here.

Very nice place. We drove in on a sunny Sunday, there was a lot of families, some stayed in the evening. We came back on a Monday, and we had the river and all the place for ourselves. You can be hidden from road but there is almost no car passing by... we spent 2 very quiet nights. Very good option, 10mn from Coyahuique center by car.

Report Check-In

great spot, if your car is not so big you can go further to a better spot... spend a quiet night.

hermoso lugar a la vera de un río pequeño. Es un lugar u y tranquilo y había algo de leña. Se agradece que quienes vayan recojan su basura pues había bastante

Beautiful spot by a small river. We have 4wd so we were able to cross over a small stream and set up camp in the woods. Very quiet at night. Friendly cat came down and made friends with us for the evening.
