Something not right?

Description

A large grassy area on the roadside across from the beach. There are hookups for water and electricity. The lot is fenced and has dogs at night. Henry is the owner. We paid 20 Belize Dollars for our truck and that includes two people only.

sorry i am at the wrong place.
cant delete this.

YES, THE PLACE IS OPEN FOR THR PUBLIC!!! But a grasy field on the left side of the street.

Spent quite a comfortable night there thanks to the sea breeze. a little bit noise from the street, but didn't bother us.

This place is permanently closed! We’ve stop there to sleep before crossing Mexican Belize border and I talk to the women there and she told me that the place is permanently closed!

Report Check-In

Safe place. Very basic, cold shower. Wifi is ok.
Normally 40 B-$, we didn't full hook up, so we paid 20B-$.

Report Check-In

It's a tourist information office with a big lawn area.
Easy to stay here. They let us in though we came around 9pm and the office closes at 6pm. Fast internet (router is in the bathroom).
Try out the Blues restaurant you can spot from here.

Report Check-In

As previously reported, partial hookup available of water and electricity, with a dump station near the wash house for 40Bz per night. WiFi is also available at sites near the Gazebo. Nice campground.

Report Check-In

Paid $40Bzd. Folks were friendly. Parked under big almond tree with shade. Ran electric (AC) and water as needed. Bathroom clean and serviced. They told me they only keep this open because there are no other full service options for travelers in this region. They are right! However, if you need no services there are many places to park along the waterfront. Check out the small cultural museum.

If you dont need to fill up your water tank or need electricity then you are better of camping at the next free spot 100 meters to the north from here. They asked 20 us dollars at first but we ended up paying 10USD for our camper and 2 people as we do not need electricity. Nice clean showers and toilet. Its just next to the road so lot of road noise.

Report Check-In

Friendly staff, in the camping field the outlet in front of the toilet/shower block worked for power (might be only one working), internet worked well at the reception. We paid 40blz a night. Also stored our camper here, 10blz per night while visiting san pedro which worked out very well for us.

the owner Henry had a bad attitude he wanted $20 USD / $40BZD for two people with hookups. Mind you, this is a field with no nearby services. He did begrudgingly offer $10 USD to camp with no connections in the far corner of the field (ensuring we wouldn't have WiFi). on his attitude alone, we decided to head down to Lamanai Resort and we got more for less, and a great staff

Report Check-In

Paid Belize dollar 10 for 1 person and car. Including use of bathroom

Report Check-In

$10 BZD/night/person. Straight forward pricing, paid up front. Not a very friendly staff but it worked well for us because it's right near the border. Not much of a town to check out.

Report Check-In

Belize $20 for camping plus another $10 to dump. Place has nice lawn area for RV's and just across from the sea. There are flush toilets and showers. I'm not sure if there is hot water since we didn't use them.

Report Check-In

Huge grassy place with electricity and water (good pressure). Two bathrooms with cold shower (cleaned only for us; we where the only people there). Internet at the entrence. Area is fenced and locked at 10pm. The place is on the Main Street but quiet in the night. The water (just crossing the Main Street ) is not that nice to swim (locals do). Prices can "vary". The owner first said it costs 20B$/Car plus 5B$ for a extra person. Later on he said it's US$. :( We still paid the cheaper prices but had to disconnect from the water and electricity.

A large grass area on the roadside across from the beach. There are hookups for water and electricity. The lot is fenced and has dogs at night. Henry is the owner. We paid 20 Belize Dollars for our truck and that includes two people only. It's also possible to leave the vehicle for 5 USD here for a jaunt at the reef islands. Seems like a safe place as it's parked with all the other cars Henry rents out. He sleeps on site and there are dogs guarding the fenced area at night.
