Great place very quiet. A big fire pit. Enough place for big rigs. Place for a tent and to put the food up. Lots of animals around and a trail nearby. FREE

The road was pretty muddy, but we made it in a Ford Fiesta. Tent camping was great on the edge of the treeline. There are a bunch of shotgun shells and bullets from various firearms around the trees, and we did find a live 5.56 round in one of the firepits, so be aware and check them thoroughly.
Great spot overall
free camping in a pasture. some prime beef cattle might come visit your camp throughout the day. No campfires this time around. its nice an quiet. Cell reception is ok. not enough for 4k streaming, but its enough to watch a short video or two on YouTube.
Report Check-InGreat spot tucked against the trees with the view of the mountains. Large rock fire ring. Beautiful sun from the east in the morning across the meadow. 4 bars Verizon. 40 mpbs. A few ruts on the short drive in but I made it find in my fwd Promaster van.
Report Check-InQuiet night with starry skies. We drove about a half a mile in no problem with our promaster. Couple other rigs out here but plenty of space.
Report Check-InLove this place! It is a perfect setup for the sunrise :) If you put your tent right next to the pine trees, there is no wind at night.
Report Check-InAs of March 2021, this is the first forest service road that is open since Sedona: the barrier has apparently been ripped. Road is in good condition, rocks can be very sharp to city tires. views of surrounding mountains well worth it.
Keep clean! Lots of toilet paper around, remember to dig a hole to bury your deeds.
Road now open. Great spot! Isolated and quiet. We're the only ones here.
Report Check-InWe came in December when there was 4 inches of snow. The dirt road was pretty clear and easy to get to. There was about 4 other campers there with us. Very beautiful views.
Report Check-Ingreat spot just be weary we got up and left straight away as it poured overnight and we nearly got stuck!
Report Check-InNice flat spots on the edge of the trees for group camping. Fire pits. Easy dirt road access from highway.
Report Check-InSo far so good, plenty of room for your convoy LOL. Verizon LTE is great, open valley one one side, forest on the others.
