Latest Check-Ins

We pulled in the RV parking area only to find out that it cost $50 per night to stay there. Police were on top of us within 10 minutes. The officer was very nice but informed us that if we didn’t pay we could also face a $100 fine in addition to the $50 a night parking fee. Apalachicola is not Boondocker friendly! Needless to say, we DID NOT stay.

Report Check-In

$50 a night for dry camping pay at the kiosk by boat ramp. Nice spot along the Apalachicola river close to great restaurants and drinking establishments.

Report Check-In

Large parking lot close to town. Can walk/bike everywhere. We love Apalachacola but did not stay here due to the $50 overnight parking fee, which I think is ridiculous, because we would have spent much more than that at their restaurants, stores and bars.

Report Check-In

There is a small sign saying that it is now 50$ to park overnight and there is a phone number to call for the payment. we didn’t stay there.

Report Check-In

Great place to stay the night. There is a machine to pay your $30 to stay the night. The local police do come and check so be sure to display the ticket in your windshield. Nice little town to visit.

No issues 1/4/22 it was quiet could not. find a sign for 30.00 dollars so we took a chance it was fabulous

Report Check-In

Not worth $30. Not even worth $5. Muddy, mound, buggy. No nearby bathroom. No nearby stores. The whole area had a super creepy vibe. Got tf out of there at 6am.

Report Check-In

Neat site, right on the River's Edge. Will definitely stay here again.

Report Check-In

Parked at this location under the bridge in the afternoon. In the evening around 8 we got a knock on the van door. A cop told us we couldn't camp here. He said we could move over to the gravel lot by the fishing pier and that it was $30 to camp over night (no hookups, water, etc.). He said there was a self pay station. We went back to the National Forest.

Report Check-In

A nice police officer informed us that there is a 30 usd per night charge to park here with an RV. The money should be dropped into the marina collection box. But he said that we cannot check anyway if we put the money or not ;)

Report Check-In

Great place, very peaceful, nice area.
We were with a big truck camping.

As described by everyone else. Quiet, dark, and a good place to spend the night.

Was originally planning on overnighting here but went down to the city dock, only to be moved back here by the cops. Lovely spot in a big gravel parking lot. A little bit of noise from cars going over the bridge but pretty quiet and surprisingly dark. Nice view to wake up to but received a big swarm of bugs in the van when I opened my door first thing.

Report Check-In

As described. A tow boat engine idles in the evening. Next morning, it is gone. Yellow helicopter working all day. Fun to see! 5-6 min walk to Tamaras café. Good for one night.

Nice spot to park in the big gravel lot next to the marina. Some local pull through in pick up trucks from time to time, but otherwise it’s relatively dark and quiet. Nobody minds you staying here.

We stayed 1 night, walking distance of a playground and the city. It was friday night and some cars came during the night juat beside us, with loud music. (12-2 am and.... 6-7 am!!!! and that waked up the kids!). Beside that, it was ok! Surprisely quiet even if there is the bridge of the 98 just over our head.
