Description

The Inn and Trialer park is right off of the Highway as you pass through Matehuala, and is also right across the highway from the Walmart (which is a good reference point). It cost 381 pesos a night to stay here. The RV park is at the very back of the facility in a gravel parking lot. RV's of all sizes would have no problem here, but tenters would have a rough place to set up. The minigolf is a little run-down. There was electricity (in the brick wall around the lot and in the restrooms) and water and drain available at each site. The bathrooms were relatively clean. They have a night watchman who was very friendly and assured us that the area is safe (although there is a walking "short-cut" for locals through the back part of the parking lot). With that being said, we had no problems.

ils acceptent les tentes, par contre, le prix de 380 pour les véhicules est aussi le même pour les tentes. A ce tarif là, je suis allé en face, un hôtel simple mais propre, 300 pour la nuit.

They accept tents, however, the price of 380 for vehicles is also the same for tents. At this price, I went opposite, a simple but clean hotel, 300 for the night.

390 pesos. secure, flat parking with water and electricity at a hotel. cold showers. nice path to walk the dog. we drank the water from the rv hook ups and are fine. clean, but cold, pool.

Report Check-In

Very nice parking with clean and fine bathrooms. Restaurant on the premise where we had some nice drinks.

Report Check-In

Our 2nd time staying here. And again we are the only ones. We like it, it's quiet, with decent facilities. Going to try the restaurant tonight. Price is 380p per night, credit cards accepted.

Report Check-In

Stayed 1 night on our way north. Not sure what people are complaining about. This is a nice spot. A little expensive but we’ve paid more for a lot less. Clean showers with hot water that drain well, good electricity that can run AC, water. It’s quiet at night and felt secure. Charged $380.80 pesos per night.

Report Check-In

Over charged me.. double! Should of caught it but was too tired.. thought about it after and could kick myself now! Not what I expected at a place with a good rep!

Report Check-In

Paid the same price for dump and water than one night 388 pesos ( around 20$ us )

Report Check-In

Not a bad place, yes more of a parking lot than a camping spot but definitely ok pit stop. Electric, water and dump, free laundry, lots of grass to walk the dog. Paid 381pesos for the night

Report Check-In

Trailer park in the back of the hotel. Some holes to dump. Not sure you can dump if you don't stay (380p/night), but if you offer to pay, they may accept.

Report Check-In

Safe place. Not gorgeous, more of a parking lot, but does the job. Playground for kids. Pool (not heated), not used because it was 16°. Restaurant (50$ for 2 adults and 3 kids), not bad but not worth the price for mexico.

Report Check-In

This is place is fine. We paid $381 and they never asked if we needed hookup (we don’t).
The gravel parking lot was a little dusty and unpleasant. The WiFi did not work where we parked, but did if you sat in the pool/playground area. The toilet/shower area were fine. Showers were cold only.
We enjoyed the mini golf. They rent golf clubs at 30 pesos each (they gave us a chipper and we shared)
All in all it was a fine stop and we felt safe and slept well.

Report Check-In

Very clean and peaceful. Great 1st stop from the border. 22$ US. Clean. Non potable water fil, dump and cold showers! It was perfect! Did not use any of the facilities, spotty internet.

Report Check-In

Nice oasis in the city - Walmart is across the street. Pool and cycling path. Clean toilet and showers for RV along with free laundry. Loud locals at laundry first night after speaking to front desk all was quiet

Report Check-In

Good place if you need a break from Pemex, road noise, etc. You can dump your load and fill your water tank. Cold shower. Decent restaurant. Did some laundry. Spotty wifi where overlanders park.

Report Check-In

Many parking spots, level, clean, secure enough, full hookups, lots of areas for walking dogs, and not many other campers. 15 amp/130V and I used a smart surge protector to pick my site. They were having electrical issues so I alerted staff and they were kind and attentive in finding me a safe outlet and resolved the problem for all outlets completely the next day.

The restaurant is totally tolerable, grounds are great for dog walking, wifi was good at the camping lot for Zoom and I had full cell service with Google Fi. $380 pesos/night. Pool was closed. I asked if I could stay for free without hookups and they politely said no. The shower was cold but the giant spider on the shower curtain and I enjoyed it. I heard no outside noise from inside my RV.

I would definitely stay here again.

Report Check-In

Good spot if you are looking for safe place to sleep

clean facilities. cold shower. laundry machine available

full hookup paid 400 pesos for the night. they didn't ask about number of people so I think cost is per vehicle.

wifi available but we didn't really use it

Report Check-In

Good overnight stay. Clean toilets and showers.

Report Check-In

Good place for overnighting for RVers. Can fit even the largest of rigs, however the side gate entry is narrow and you need to watch out for trees and rooflines up top. When driving back out with a low RV, better to go left next to the road and use the large area in front of the hotel for a turn and not attempt to cross over the hump directly onto the road.
Enjoyed the pool and the restaurant was reasonably priced and food was good. Not perfectly quiet but very reasonable for a spot so close to the road.
Paid 380 MXN for 44ft 5th wheel, 2 adults 2 kids (seems to be a flat rate per RV). Has 15 Amp power, water and sewer at the rear of each site (around 6-7 sites).

Report Check-In

Paid 380pesos for 2 person + 1 motorcycle + 1 puppy.

Camping with gravels.

Everything clean.

Report Check-In

No one else here. Large wide marked sites. Water, electric and sewer at sites. Electric is 130V. We are going to Real de Catorce with the truck and will pay the nightly rate just to get secure trailer storage. 10.9MB download on ATT. WiFi 28.8 download. Parked next to clean bathrooms - toilet seats and extra paper!

Report Check-In

Belle place pour y passer quelques nuits. Eau, électricité dump - bref tous les services a même le stationnement de camping. Il y a un beau parc pour enfant et une grande piscine. L’air de camping ressemble à un stationnement mais c’est très propre! Je recommande !

Report Check-In

buen lugar para pasar la noche, bastante seguro y cuenta con agua y luz electrica

good place to spend the night, quite safe and has water and electricity

Report Check-In

Very meh for 380 pesos, which is expensive for Mexico. There's a small pool. The restaurant food wasn't that good. It's a literal parking lot behind the hotel. It is safe and secured though, clean bathrooms and showers.

Report Check-In

Nice place to stay before or after crossing the Laredo border to the USA. Parking is in the back of the hotel, with 20 amp service (enough to power our A/C), water, and dumps at each site. You do have to go under a low pass through that was 3.6 meters. We just fit our class C under at 3.5 meters tall. We saw larger rigs and fifth wheels there, so there could possibly be another entrance I would ask the hotel attendants. Nice pool, good restaurant, and clean bathrooms with hot showers. Electric doesn't have grounds, and we experienced "hot skin" several times. Close to Walmart and Soriana if you need groceries.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

this is a great place to stop take a shower and shop for food! We can wash clothes.
it has lots of space...

Report Check-In

A safe place to spend the night near Matehuala. Clean nice bathrooms with paper and soap. 381 pesos. Be sure to check out the lovely trail that starts at the far end of the gravel lot.

Report Check-In

Las Palmas had an excellent restaurant, a nice pool, and excellent service. The sites had 15 amp plugs, sewer, and water. The RV parking area is towards the back of the. hotel and there was a large fifth wheel there as well. We are in a group of 3 class C RVs and all ran our Air Conditioners at the same time with no issues. The local police were super helpful as we missed the turn and GPS wanted us to go under a Like 7 foot tall tunnel. So we had to disconnect our towed vehicles so we could back up. The local police blocked traffic and then had us follow them to the hotel to make sure we made it safely. There's a large grocery store and even a Walmart very close. All and all a great spot to rest after a long drive from Lardeo. Plus it was not a bad drive to Real De Catorce from there. Also okay cell signal, not amzing (we have T-Mobile which uses TELCEL with a booster) also the wifi barely reaches to the RV area and is slow.

Report Check-In

This is a rv park we always thinking of. Nice park with everything. Wifi is good. People are very nice. We took a walk beside the parking space. One of the best things is when we ask how much does it cost if we just park here without hookup. They said it is free! Which really helps a lot when we travel to real del cartorce and dessert town. Highly recommended.

Report Check-In

good spot as noted. pool cold and 15 amp electrical may not be wired right so watch out. 381 pesos per night, no weekly rate.

Report Check-In

We stayed here for 4 nights after the border crossing from the USA. Full hookups but test your electrical outlet as ours was suspect. There is no longer laundry on-site. However, they do offer laundry services but we never inquired about cost. Wifi was slow at the back corner that is close to the walking path. The walking path was great for taking the dogs for walks throughout the day. The restaurant food was good but pricey by Mexican standards. Price is now $380MX per night with no discounts for longer stays.

Report Check-In

Stay here for 1 night, 380$ pesos
Pretty decent, clean, quiet and nice place.
Clean bathrooms and showers.
They have around 10/12 places for RV’s with all the amenities, no problem for big rigs, we have a 31ft RV that couldn’t fit into the front door and they opened another gate for us.
Good wifi and friendly staff.
There is a WalMart walking distance (5min)

Report Check-In

As described earlier. Great, safe spot if you are heading to the border. The washing machine was great. Lots of amenities in the town across the hiway.

Report Check-In

Really enjoyed our time here.
A fee washing machine beside the woman's bathroom, lines to hang your clothes.
Warm showers and clean bathroom, however if people are using the washing machine all day - you'll most likely have a luke warm shower.
We paid 380 P a night.
Nice pool, with coldish water.
Restaurant on site was good but expensive ( for Mexico).
Had water, electric and dump station at sites.

Report Check-In

Good campsite with plenty of room in the town of Matehuala. We camped here for 4 days and took day trips into Matehuala and to the nearby old mining town of Real de Catorce. Good WiFi, showers, laundry, nice walking path through nature surrounding the campground/hotel to walk your dog. Mini golf unfortunately now is no longer included, they charge extra (as opposed to our previous visit in 2014).

Bon emplacement pour 364 mxn/ nuit. Sites propres avec électricité (15A), eau et vidage. Sanitaires vieillots mais propres; douche avec eau tiède. Un lave linge et des fils d' étendage sont à disposition.

Stood here another time leaving Mexico. Price is always 364 pesos per site per night. A lot of noise from the highway this time.

Report Check-In

We stayed here in our roof top tents. It was a great place for the kids. The bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. The kids loved the playground and pool. The staff is friendly and helpful. Walmart is close by for resupplying. We have a large family so the restaurant prices were higher than we wanted to pay. We went to La Noria, the restaurant across the street which had amazing burgers.

Report Check-In

Very quiet. Water sewer and electricity available at sites. Clean bathrooms with warm showers. 364 pesos per site per night.

Report Check-In

Very nice place to stay... easy to drive in but be sure and ask to enter in the RV driveway. The employee needs to open the gate. Can sit at the pool area and have a drink

Report Check-In

Great Hotel and Camping Spot...

Report Check-In

360 pesos per night. lots of rooms to rent and a big space for rigs.

Report Check-In

Like others said, a big parking lot behind the hotel / resort. While the campground isn't anything to write home about, the playground and pool area is wonderful, clean, well kept, etc. the restaurant is okay but a bit pricey. Decent overnighter for camping and a really cool resort in general.

Report Check-In

We were the only people there. The rate was 364 pesos. Bathrooms were clean. Each site has sewer, water and a power outlet. The power is 110v. As we were only there one night, we didn't try any of them but everything seemed well looked after. The RV area is a large lot in the back corner of the hotel property. We would stay here again.

Report Check-In

Still 360. Very nice staff. Pool was very cold and not so clean, but the kids went in anyway.
Nice playground, mini golf is 25 per persons...
I don't think there was electricity, but water and drain at all site.
Restrooms very clean.
We were only two rv.

Place was empty when we stayed here, VERY CLEAN bathrooms!
Hot shower, even soap and toilet paper provided. Pretty fast internet. Paid $360 pesos for an overnight stay.

Stayed one night on way S. Hotel restaurant Open late and very good. Electricity not working at all sites. Staff very accommodating. Didn't use other facilities. Would definitely stay here again, especially to enjoy dinner. Try the cambuches!

373 pesos per night. credit cards accepted. nice walk inside the grounds. clean bathrooms w/hot water, soap & toilet paper. we had 1 pair sandals missing in the morning-watch your things!

Report Check-In

Very good for the price. For not much more than the price of a shower at flying j, which are very good, all facilities are here with the possibility of good food and ambience. As regards tenting me and my wife have camped with our motorcycle in much worse places without the facilities.

Report Check-In

Waiters in bow ties, mini golf, and a big neon sign. A quirky throwback stop. Parking area is pretty basic, and the prices are on the high end ($360 for parking/camping and ~$900 for a room), but there is something charming about it. Also, there is a pool.

Report Check-In

this place got expensive they are asking for 360 pesos for a might now.

Not a bad place, gravel parking-lot style camping in the back of a motel. Good internet a clean washrooms. Cockroaches on steroids all over the place to watch out for.
