Description

Several great spots right on the water. Not sure how busy it is in the summer but beautiful nonetheless.

Comment: Beautiful location only if you don't mind being woken up every two hours by trains. The dog and husband loved swimming in the warm water though.

Previous descriptions and directions are correct. Take first left dirt road after crossing over railroad tracks. Take smaller left dirt road up slight grade
Road was a bit overgrown, but we snuck our 12ft tall Unimog down it. Drive all the way to the end. Road will descend down to railroad tracks. Large open spot by edge of lake. Four trains overnight. No Verizon.

Beautiful spot right next to the Reservoir. Fire pit and old picnic table. Kinda bumpy road on the way in but no need for 4WD

Great spot. Fire rings, tables, tucked up against the reservoir. The trains are not too bad, at least they don't blast their horns.

As you enter the dam area and cross the bridge over the railway, go left on the dirt road and then immediately left at the fork to the smaller path. Go all the way back.

Take a hard left right at the rr tracks and follow the tracks for maybe 1/2 to 1 miles until you can turn right and just follow to the end. Several great spots right on the water. Not sure how busy it is in the summer but beautiful nonetheless.
