Latest Check-Ins

stayed overnight by the river in my tent. pretty busy and noisy with music at night. being war plugs. people were generally friendly and I felt safe.

Tried to stay here on a Sunday. Family friendly during the day. Very busy with cars as night falls. Water tap was not running. Seems to be a popular hang out spot for locals to drink and smoke. A group told us that it was not safe later in the night so we moved on. Would not recommend to stay here.

try to stay but a group of local drunk are living there.
did not spend the night

Stayed two nights. Very busy on sunday. Also people all the time on weekdays. Toilets are 200 pesos on weekends. During the week they lock all except of one where the flush is not working so you have to carry water in a bucket. There is a water tab right next to the bbq at the toilets. Someone told us it’s portable. Also great if you plan to do washing. Lots of shade. We didn’t find free WiFi.

Great spot for a night. Not much trash, there is people who come clean the area every day.
We were here on a Wednesday night and many cars passed by the small road infront of which we were parked. There is a spot infront of the river to do BBQ and we think thats why the road was bussy. After 2AM no noise at all.
Ok for big rigs.

Great camping spot for a night. Marker is in the wrong spot on map. I have done a screenshot of the camping location, hope it helps.

This place is called Pumaitén and not Pumalin.

This place is in wrong location - it is located at -34.95972, -71.12717

Next to the river - parking by the cultural center. Best part? Cultural center has toilets you can use. Really quiet -- people don't seem to mind that you're parked here. Please take your rubbish with you...
