Latest Check-Ins

OVERNIGHT NOT PERMITTED: we arrived late and parked near many vans, rvs and boondockers but we all got told no in the morning by two sherrifs and a manager (?). Will not risk it tonight again

Report Check-In

stayed here 2 nights. today I went to pull in and there was a cop just sitting back there where all the car campers were and I didn't see anyone. didn't want to risk it went to a new location.

Report Check-In

Arrived around 8:00pm, and now there is sigh that says “no overnight extended parking”.
So went there to ask and said it was fine for one night. In the morning realized there was also two/three vans. Just need to park far from the entrance in the right corner. Had a goodnight of sleep. Left around 8:30am

Report Check-In

Arrived at night. And see the no parking sign but already tired. So stayed for the night. Later on more RV and vans arrived. So quite and no one disturb us. Big parking lot.

Report Check-In

Staying again tonight. I am sharing a photo from today to show just how comfortable people are staying here (sitting outside having a chat in the WalMart parking lot).

Report Check-In

Stayed here last night. Yes, there are signs saying no overnight parking, but there were more big RVs than I've ever seen at a Wal-Mart before. It is loud, people around all evening/night but it was ok for the night since there are not many other options, especially for the big RVs.

Report Check-In

Good Walmart in AZ…quiet and lots of other vans and campers. Clean up your dog sh!t

Report Check-In

Great stay, multiple other vans and RVs. Bathrooms inside are extremely smelly and busy.

Report Check-In

One of the most amazing views, sunsets. Met tons of van dwellers that were also spending the night. Had a great time and good sleep.
I’m not bothered by cars driving by. Nobody had generators. There was not “welcome to Walmart” message playing.

Report Check-In

spent a night, no one bothered me, it was loud from the big streets nearby

Report Check-In

I stayed here a bunch of nights in a row no issue. Dozens of other RV’s and cars parked overnight. Don’t make yourself too at home here so they don’t crack down!

Report Check-In

I’ve stayed here several nights (always leave during the day to explore) over the last three weeks. Never any problems. Usually 6-12+ vans/RVs/car dwellers. Nice Rec path across from the lot.

Report Check-In

I’ve stayed here four separate times over the last 2 1/2 weeks as I travel around the area. No problems at all. I always leave by 10am. It seems like everyone is following the rules. Usually 6-12 RVs/Vans/car dwellers every night. A little loud at times, but to be expected. Nice walking path nearby too.

Report Check-In

there are signs warning no overnight extended stays. that being said, there are a lot of other vans and rvs here and there were quite a few cars parked overnight as well. no security or cops came through. the road noise from the highway is pretty loud. safe, well lit, good for an overnight.

Report Check-In

I used navigation to the shopping center and when I saw Walmart I just looked for RVs in the back and parked there. Woke up and noticed a no overnight parking sign right next to me. Whoops. Still, no issues for me or the other campers, buses, and vans. 🤷 The train noise was moderate. I'd ready the ear plugs and window shades. Overall an easy safe spot

Report Check-In

Stayed 1 night, slept great surprisingly. A handful of other campers there as well. No issues.

Report Check-In

Good for one night signs say no extended stay.

Report Check-In

we slept two nights. we asked customer service, no problem they said. level, safe and quiet at night. perfect place in tucson

Report Check-In

confirmed with store manager, they do ask for one night stay only and that you park at the edge of the lot away from the store. on the plus side there was no Walmart radio playing outside the store so it was relatively quiet.

Report Check-In

there are signs saying “no extended stay”. we only slept here for the night and left early morning. no one bothered us

Report Check-In

As Described. no extended parking signs but had no problems for one night. several other vehicles there.

Report Check-In

The signs that are up prohibit “extended” overnight parking. I spoke with an employee and single night stays are allowed. There were about 7 other rigs in the lot overnight while I was there.

Report Check-In

Signs indicate No extended parking. Violators will be towed at owners expense.
As I park here on Saturday night there are many other RVs in the parking lot.
There are NO messages being played over any speakers.
My wife and I have stayed at this Walmart several times over the last few years and never had an issue.

Good place for a night, they coose late and open early.

Report Check-In

Yuk. Just yuk. Clearly Walmart is wants to drive away camper/business. Announcement blaring all night, also happened at another Walmart. Bye Walmart.

Report Check-In

Trash cans in front of store only. Recording about shopping at Walmart and masks goes on all night but I parked in back and it was not very loud. Only a minor annoyance. Nice safe place to sleep and as always I shop for what I need to make it worth it to Walmart to let us stay in their parking lot and as a thank you.

Report Check-In

Busy walmart, bring ear plu
gs and sleep mask. many rigs and cars here this morning. some ran generators all night, nd there is a "Thank you for shopping at Walmart" message that plays over the whole parking lot every ten minutes.

24hr Walmart. Huge parking lot. Noise from the freeway was steady. Tucson is hot hot hot hot hot hot hot. May want a portable fan sleeping here in July.

Report Check-In

parked in th corner. we weren't disturbed yet there was a fair bit of noise from cars going round during the night.

Report Check-In

Just happened to go to the Walmart because needed something and noticed an RV, people sleeping in cars, a pickup truck, SUV, a sprinter van and 1 transport truck. No signs saying "no overnight". So I stayed there instead of BLM campsite. Security going up and down lanes with lights flashes, all night. Overall was a good place to park.

Report Check-In

We stayed 3 nights without issue. I don’t think the 1 night rule is enforced. Security patrolling all night.

Report Check-In

The only Walmart near Tucson that seems to allow overnight parking. There were several RV’s here tonight along with us, and things were quiet even thought we are near the highway. We parked far from the store on the left side.

Report Check-In

After stopping at the first Walmart on Highway 10 coming into Tucson we found no parking was allowed. We came down to this Walmart and found it was allowed and spent a very peaceful night with the hum of traffic putting us to sleep.

Report Check-In

Stayed here with several other campers. Littlebit noisy by trafic but free and good for a night

Report Check-In

Management permits overnight parking for one night. Security patrol at night. Fast wifi in store.
