Report Check-InExiting Argentina (entering Chile) - first building is only for commercial trucks. (And bathrooms) Pass by them, and proceed to second building. Pull ahead to individual booths (looks like toll booths) First is migración- give passport and TIP. Receive it back plus a slip of paper. Pull forward, second booth is aduana. Hand in TIP, vehicle ownership and that slip of paper. Get a stamp and signature on the TIP and that slip of paper. You’re done here. (Your experience may vary)
Report Check-InEntering Argentina. Park at 45* angle. Take papers inside building on right. Passport stamp and another little slip of paper. Then aduana for TIP and second stamp on slip of paper. Back to car and drive through. Hand over little slip of paper. At this point you should be free of the darned slips of paper….. until you exit!

Enter Chili : lots of people but it was fast also. We had to throw our vegetables and milk products. Fast check of the inside of the vehicule. Be careful : they can take away your gasoline tank if you're coming from Argentina. We emptied ours before crossing following the advice of the YBF guy.
Border crossing Argentina to Chile: Very quick processing, within minutes. Probably the quickest border crossing ever. And very friendly personal.
