Nice place for wild camping just out of town! Enough space, and covered by trees from the road(maybe 5 cars passed). River is clear and if you like you can bath
in it. Small fish jumps out of the water, so nice for fishing too. We had beautiful starry night! Enjoy:)
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Great spot as described elsewhere! Road work has made entry from road a little steeper I think but still should be ok for just about any vehicle other than a loaded down short wheel base low clearance but that might be just fine. We are in a 4wd Hilex w camper shell.
Report Check-Inawesome place, next to the river with the possibility to enter the water and stay out of sight of the road.
there are places for more cars/tents around this area
Great place near the river. Great to take a quick swim. Quiet even though it's just next to the road.
Report Check-InVery nice place. We had to wait until locals leave because they were blocking the way to the grassy area. Calm during the night even you are close to the dusty road (but not visible feom the road) Great wind protection. Accessible for all types of of vehicles. Good Entel mobile signal. Mosquitoes.
Report Check-Instayed here for 2 nights. it was a great spot right on the river. very quiet at night and I had the place to myself for both nights.
Report Check-InBest wild camping spot we had so far! Tip: drive through a bit further to the right when you get to the water (might need 4x4 if grass is wet like with us) to get to another flat area with fire pit. Stayed 2 nights.
Report Check-InAwesome place. We stayed 2 nights as we were locked in the town due to a rockslide on the main street to Futaleufu. The locals had a big party on the other side of the river with reggaeton all night long which didn't let us sleep very well 🙁 though, but don't think it's a regular thing.
Report Check-InDefinitely one of the best spot we have done so far (and done many!). Enough space for 5 to 8 cars (go further, on the right there is other spots hidden). Pit fire. Beautifull river where we had a bath. Privacy. Be carreful, it's a PRIVATE land. The owner which was a friend of our kayak instructor seems to agree that people can camp here. But let the place really clean and be respectful, or it could end...
Report Check-InWe stayed there 2 nights and it was lovely, very close to the river where you can have a cold bath.
We were not alone but big enough to share.
really wonderful place, stayed here three nights at different times, and once in a spot further downstream, and another across the river on the other side (off the main road to futa).
this was the best spot by far. shaded in the morning, nice access to the river.
Report Check-InLots of space for vehicles or tents. Flat ground with grass by the river, hidden from the road. Perfect spot, quiet and beautiful.
Report Check-InWonderful camping place ! Accessible for all vehicules , a lot of space to park or pitch tents, access to the Rio Espolon, clean place, quiet, hidden from road, wind, rain and sun by trees. What do you need more? ok, there is no empañadas...
Report Check-InBeautiful wild camping spot next to river. There is a small pull out road from the main road - accessible for all cars. The camping is grassy and very flat. Lots of wood nearby to make a fire & there are a few spots were previous fires have been made.
