Description

There's an amazing restaurant here called Pappy and Harriets and an old western movie set. There is camping a few blocks north at Corral campground. It has bathrooms/showers and hookup for 10pp per night. we got the restaurant wifi in the car park.

Stopped by to check this place out - it’s now $20 per vehicle and $15pp, so $50 a night for two people in a van. Literally a parking lot with porta potties. A bit of a scam if you ask me. We had tickets for a show and parked in the dirt parking lot before you go into town overnight and wasn’t bothered, however it’s a stealth thing and wouldn’t put out chairs or anything.

Situé derrière le motel. Aucun problème pour avoir un site. Maintenant 15 $ par personne plus 20 $ pour le véhicule. Aucun service. Toilette sèche propre.

This is NOT the parking lot for Pappy & Harriet’s. It’s a few blocks over, north of the restaurant/venue. Looks like an awesome place to camp, but it was snowed in when I arrived! Was too afraid to drive off the track marks, since I’m in a 2wd rwd van. No one else was there and when I realized you can’t park in the restaurant lot, I drove 15 minutes to the Walmart lot, which seems totally fine.

Campground is 10$/PERSON. The guy John is not very friendly et control freak. We must wear bracelet!?! No service. Only a toilet but clean. The road is bumpy to get there.

Restaurant has clear signs of No overnight.
Band a Wednesday but 25$ cover charge per person. We only had a beer there.
The Village is a nice walk.

When I arrived, asked if possible to overnight in the parking lot, the young girl was a bit rude and said not permitted especially when she saw my small motorhome.. She told me: I don’t know where you find this information but absolutely not permitted and directed me to the campground behind: no electricity, no water, no showers:$10 for dry camping, but worth it.. Very nice little town that reminds me cowboys movies..

Great bar and food, had live music from a great band. Great atmosphere and really friendly staff.
The old movie town is great to see and walk through the buildings.
You can pay 10 dollars per person to camp in the camp ground Rv camping. We ate in the bar and asked the staff if we could park up, they said we could stay on the bar car park for free.
