Description

MODERATOR NOTE: WARNING! Gun point robberies reported in this location. Please use caution.

We entered just after km 93 coming from the north. Followed the dirty road which was easy to drive on. On the beach you find Super soft sand so make sure your vehicle can handle soft sand. Nobody was here when we arrived, however later in the day a family enjoyed a sunset picking and fire. We saw a few sea lions chilling on the rocks. We had a fun little hike around the rocks to other secluded beaches. Please take your trash, let's try to keep these beautiful beaches clean.

Decent 3g signal with Telcel.

CAUTION!!

We almost got robbed at gunpoint at this spot last night. Good for the day but not at night.
2 kids (age 15-20) pulled up in their pickup truck and drove a circle. They turned off their lights and robbed 2 people at gunpoint.
They took their phones.
At that time, 6 Campervans were parked at the beach. That didn't stop them.

Entered after the bridge, 180 so had to swing wide with 30' rv. lots of room, stay on hard pack. sea lions and whales

Report Check-In

Absolutely amazing beach, whales constantly were swimming out in the ocean. Expansive golden sandy beach, big waves, splendor is rocky formations where the waves hit the rocks and make little pools that the kids could play in.. careful though v big waves, but just so beautiful… crystal clear water and people come and go but the beach is so big there’s room for everyone. Yes be careful of soft sand but if you enter on the southbound side like it says you can manage and we caught some fish!! Yummy dinner

Great quiet beach. It’s a surf spot but not too busy. We had a quiet night

Nice beach. Decent flat spot to camp. Fair amount of garbage around. Our van was broken into on the first day during a 30 minute period when we went for a walk in the afternoon. The van was locked. They also broke into another van. Be very cautious if you leave your vehicle unattended.

Beautiful remote beach off of Mex 19. Easy access on sandy spur road. Camping on beach requires ability to drive in soft sand. No amenities. 4G coverage on Verizon.

Stayed 5.nights at this wonderful beach- great for walking, hiking, whale and sea lions watching from shore and „in“ the ocean of course for surfing- I wouldn’t recommend SUP or swimming; during the day some tourists and locals showed up for Picknick or surfing and at the weekend a big group of locals camped at the north end; we had always a calm and safe night; we cleaned up the beach and burned 3x 60l bags!!of plastic trash...maybe not the best thing but in my mind the only way to avoid the dying of sea turtles, whales, dolphins or birds by plastic; please use a shovel for your business and take your trash with you or burn it!

Beautiful beach with sea lions hanging around on the rocks. It was a bit breezy when I arrived just before sunset but it got calm soon after. I parked close to the cliff on the north side to get some protection but it wasn’t really needed. Sand is very loose so be sure to air down your tires.

Great camping at a long and sandy beach. Easy access on a 2 km dirtroad from the south side of the bridge at km 93. There were 2 american and 2 european campers. At the north end of the beach are some sea lions.

Report Check-In

Absolutely beautiful and pristine. Sandy beach shouldered between rock faces about 300 metres apart. For dry camping. Bring your own provisions especially water. Local people here for day use = swimming, picnicing. Road in is a bit difficult. Follow directions from previous posts. Greeted by a herd of mules (x8) including calf at end of road near near the beach. Soft sand to access beach so be aware of your own vehicle’s ability to maneuver in this condition.
