Latest Check-Ins

Turning off the main highway you need to cross a narrow bridge (14 ton max) that might limit large/wide rigs. Then The road to the river is gated and marked as Private Property. No river access to be had.
Not wanting to explore further we turned down BLM road 1092 which is just before the gate. If you also go down this road be warned that the sand/dirt may seem solid under foot but will compress significantly under the weight of a truck. We needed to engage 4wd to get in/out of our camp site.

No shade, some cactus, and litter but there is 3G cell signal (AT&T).

Report Check-In

Gorgeous. But definitely isn’t respected. Showed up late, stayed. Beautiful in the morning, and lovely spring weather here. Probably unbearably hot in the summer. The other marked BLM spot is closed, so just come here.

Perfect service LTE Verizon. 3G AT&T
I think there is a fire ban here.

Bridge to get in is shot to bits, but it has a 14 Ton limit, and would be a tough fit for an extra-wide vehicle.

Report Check-In

As other have mentioned this spot is a little run down and there are likely better options nearby. The main littering seemed to be shotgun and other ammunition, some of which was live. We cleared up a little but where the road finishes (I assume washed away) the sand is covered in more ammo and targets. We got in relatively late so stayed anyway. Give it a miss.

Report Check-In

Pretty trashed -- broken glass, shotgun shells, and even a used diaper. River barely had any water flowing. Gave the North side of the river a quick look, but the road was barricaded near the highway

Report Check-In

Stopped here to cook dinner, but did not stay the night although we would have been perfectly fine doing so. The spot is Quiet, off the main road and secluded. At the end of the road there is a gravel pile that if you drive around, had a lovely flat spot to park. You are also right beside the river as well.

Report Check-In

We were able to find a little bit of wind coverage here. Nice and flat surface. Gas stations are about .5 mile away.
