Awesome place. We stayed two nights. Water down by lifeguard shack. Very crowded the second night. Next morning when everyone started cooking, you could see the locals walking in the area were upset.

Ran into a vanlifer who said the police do stop by and ask people to leave even though there are not any no parking signs.

Please help keep this place open by arriving late and leaving early and keeping it clean.

Please use with care so this can stay open.

All other descriptions are right! Beautiful spot with public bathrooms. There were a few other people here sleeping, no problems at night however the next morning the bylaw officers went around to every vehicle that looked remotely like people were sleeping in them and approached everyone. They didn’t ask if we slept there but tried to find out how we found out about the location, and then said the places we were headed don’t let people sleep in their cars.

Seems like this place is very close to being shut down with no overnight parking signs. They also will probably eventually find out about this app and start cracking down on the Vancouver locations - enjoy while it lasts.

Stayed here for 1 night, as described free overnight parking. Quiet neighborhood and access to clean park restrooms. Only issue is that the park is not dog friendly.

Better than Elizabeth park because more quiet and you hear the ocean, also there is a beach house restaurant and you can get wifi as far as one of the picnic tables there. Pretty quiet as far as camping in Vancouver city goes. Also public toilet close by, opens at 6am and closes at 10pm.

Great spot. Breakfast on the beach with a great view.
No tent allowed!!! Police was there in the morning to find someone who slept in a tent. A neighbor had call. They said it’s ok if you sleep in the car.

Very nice place , Beachhouse restaurant and toilets from 6 to 10PM, Train passing close but , it was the same at RV Park where we paid 70$ per night

As described. great place to stay with a nice beach & park with playground right in West Vancouver, we had a quite night without any issues, pretty clean washrooms!

Slept there one night on a Sunday we were alone. Very quiet and beautiful spot but we got some curious and disapproving looks from the neighbors. Kept low profile and our pop up down and it was fine for a night. Although the very loud train wake us up in the middle of the night. Free!

Report Check-In

Music and talks until 1am on a saturday night + the train during the night.
Convenient, but too load for us.

Report Check-In

Good place to stay , quiet at night , in this time of the year bathrooms are open until 7pm and are well maintained.

Report Check-In

Wonderful spot, especially in the winter months, since it’s not very busy. The parking lot overlooks the beach, there are well maintained toilets, which close at night, and there is a fancy restaurent a few meters away called “The Beachouse”.
There is a train not far away, but it didn’t wake us up throughout the night. Not far from the shops either.

Report Check-In

It is a parking lot, but strangely enough is a perfect place in West Vancouver. No really suitable for large rigs. We were alone and local residents were curious about our expedition truck... Suggest not abusing on time, noise, etc. keeping stealth as much as possible so other fellow overlanders can enjoy before a no overnight parking sign is posted.

Report Check-In

Nice spot, restaurant has good WIFI which reaches to gazebo on beach.

Report Check-In

Parking lot next to a beach with a snack bar and restaurant. Washrooms open from 8am(?)-10pm. No signs indicating that parking overnight isn't allowed. Checked with a guy that works at the snack bar about overnight parking, according to him people stay there frequently, so we decided to forego stealthiness and sleep in our pop-top. No issues, apart from a very loud train passing by just a few meters away in the middle of the night.
