Not wanting to go from sea level to +4000M in a day decided to stop short (2400M). Little track comes off route 30 and leads over the small hill to a not so level but out of sight area where there are many rocks to help level. Nice valley view and very quite overnight.

The track is still there. Drive up the hill and you are not visible from the road. High clearance needed. Passing trucks make some noise at night but it was ok. Fantastic views.
Report Check-InWe saw it (but not stop). There is a way for 4x4 to the hill and there is a flat area for big rigs closed to, with nice view at the end of the day...
Report Check-InAccess road is still there! It's a nice spot whith a great view but you may need 4x4. The entrance and the way up is a bit hard to find, since nobody seems to use it.
Report Check-InThe access road is gone because of the new concrete drainage ditch along that side of the road.
