Beautiful KOA campground just outside the park. We are able to secure a back in space #48 that overlooks the entrance to the park for 2 nights. All gravel and very level. Water, sewer good 30 amp hook up and wifi which was pretty weak. Our Starlink was blazing! There was a picnic table and fire ring below our spot which made a good spot to enjoy the morning sun rise with a hot cup of coffee or the sunset and cocktail. Bathrooms were clean and plenty of hotwater.

We’d suggest taking the tour which you can book directly when you check in. The basic 2.5 hour tour will take you beyond the drive around the loop. They pick up and drop off at the KOA,huge plus. If you feel like venturing out for good food we’d suggest Gouldings restaurant. Very clean and well made food. I suggest the Res Bah, it’s enough for two! Take your time and Enjoy this beautiful place.

We loved this campground, as the manager is great, the restrooms are warm and clean, the showers are hot and roomy, and the views can not be beat. Back in to the small spaces if you can and soak it all in.
