Something not right?

Description

small campsite right on the beach with very basic amenities in one of the greatest location. It's really worth to stay and chill for a week or so. A little overpriced for the services they offer but the beach is great and the snorkeling and kayaking in the morning is great. Short walk to town and market.

Very basic camp spot, but nice palmtrees here. Shower water very cold. No Wifi. 4 Bucket Toilets.
We (2) paid 300 Pesos/Night with an RV without power supply (costs +100). Location is good, only 200m into town, Restaurants, Oxxo.
Can recommend this place. Nice and small.

I dont know what happend but if you are gonna stay. Ask if there water available. We arrive we connect everything and when we want water the told us that there is some improvements in the town so theres no enough water. $300 per night for two plus $100 for AC. We were thinking on staying one week and we only stay one night. The guy has positive attitude to help in needs you have. We think is expensive for the ammenities.

Couldn’t find this particular place however along this dirt road there are many places to camp in a van/RV/tent. We drove along and asked the owners of each lot until we found somewhere with space (we arrived late at night over the Xmas holidays). We found somewhere that let us stay for 125p a night, right on the beach. No showers or toilets though. There were only 3 other RVs on site - still had cell service. We liked this location and the beaches here better than San Patricio - much quieter.

A very miserable woman came into mended 300 pesos a night for two people in one van. Power and water but no shower heads. Fairly rundown place.

We are Now at El Horno del Catrin second location about 150 m past the first one which is registered here.

Same owner, same manager (Carmen). More spaces available here. Can plug with long cord extension. As January 2018, price is 100 pesos pp plus optional 100 pesos for power. Most campers are here for weeks or months but short stay are welcome. Clean toilets flushed with bucket. Cold shower. Very nice and long beach perfect for walking, running or biking.
Fair snorkeling just in front.

We enjoyed this spot so much we stayed three days. Lots of shade from the palms, clean toilets and showers, 5 min walk to town, friendly people and a great beach. We were happy to visit. It appears there are many places you can find to camp along this whole beach.

To find take road to La Manzanillo and turn right at last street before the beach. Follow it around the lagoon to park. paid 100p per person including power. great shallow, palm tree lined beach that is s quite long but kinda dirty at south end. water was great fun to play in. downside: definitely a sewage smell at night from nearby lagoon. responsible dumping is a problem here.

Beautiful location, beachfront, sites have shaded palapas and also power (if you ask for it, they will bring you an extension cord). Cold showers (not a problem in the heat) and bucket flush toilets. Very sandy, no grass anywhere.

2015 prices are: 80 pesos per adult, 40 pesos per child. Rumors are that next year it is going up to 100/50. Monthly rates are 25 times the daily rate.
