Description

When you drive the 40 from Matzalan to Durango turn left to the gravelroad where this point is located. In the first 50 metres the track widens enough to park or turn your rig. You will be visible from the main road there. If you drive your rig backwards over the track you will find within 100 metres in the last curve before the track forks enough space to park along the track ( where this point is ). Peacefull, quiet ( except the rooster ) and beautiful view through the pine trees. We did spend an extra day here. Easy access for all rigs. No mossies or sand flies. Pleasant temperature at night.

Latest Check-Ins

We parked at the entrance near the street. So half visible. Because of our size and the less leveled ground. For just overnight it is ok, BUT we got visitors at 1 am. 2 paramilitaries with guns on a old motorbike wanted to come inside to inspect, we denied. I (Karin) started to cry (I know sometimes helps this quiet good) 😉. And indeed, after 30 Min. they went away with a „ Buenas Noches“. Puhhhh ….

Report Check-In

This spot is good to spend a quiet, and fresh night. Nice scent of pine trees. You won’t be seen from the main road. Some locals passing by, told us it was safe.
