Indeed if you park at the intersection there is a small path that leads you to the geothermal field for free. It's clearly not Yellowstone but it's interesting, the ground smokes and bubbles in places.

You can enter for free 100m down the road towards the main junction, on a well used local trail.

Totally worth the detour from the main road!

They wanted to charge me $1pp but we arrange $0,50pp. If you are in the area, it’s worth visiting it, something different.

This is a natural geothermal field. Fumaroles bubble and pop all over the field. Pay 50 cents to woman at house. Walk careful through the area. No safety. No security. No restrictions. Interesting to see.
