Nice free Picknick/Camping Area close to Town. Pickniktables, Toilett, and some sites with electric.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
No longer a campground but a great stopping spot with path to the municipal beach as well.
Report Check-InStopped here to make some breakfast and have a shower. There is a shower in one of the washrooms, however there were no taps to turn on the water. So, no shower. 😕
The toilets were open and the water tap outside the building were operating, so I was at least able to refill my water jugs.
Too bad you can’t camp here anymore, it’s a lovely spot.
Great place to stop for picnic- beautiful park by the water
However no overnight camping
Shame, all you previous travellers that thought it was a wonderful place, but didn't pay or leave a donation? Not much in Ontario as it is, stop spoiling it for the rest of us.
Report Check-InVery nice campground, but it's not free. Since the showers and bathroom were closed, we decided to park our van for the night, but not pay for it. No one came to check. WiFi works and is fast.
Report Check-InNice little spot by the lake. usually 15 or 25$ but only when the tourist booth is open. it was closed for the season when I stayed. there are not that many sites with electricity. there are shower (2nd one) and toilet for free.
Report Check-InNot technically free ($15 for tent site) but we showed up late and left early. Hot/clean showers!
