Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
I spend there one night.
Only one old dog anymore. Quiet and safe (there were 2 guards!). A really nice a spacious kitchen with all you need.
Unfortunately not much room for rigs.
I found a small area for my tent and landcruiser on the left side when you enter.
But don't choose this one, because it was just underneath a nest of pigeons that were very noisy from 4 am onwards.
They have a lot of animals to see. Even a monkey, pigs.
The hosts were very freindly and helpful, even though they have problems to smile (like many people in Yucatan).
So expensive 400 pesos for 2 p 1 night in camper. Swiming pool is very small, didn t stay.
Report Check-Innice place, everything oke BUT there is a pack of 8 dogs. they are not nice, half wild. we left after 1 night, they bark all day and night and they try to bite !
So sad because this is a great spot to camp. the owner only speaks spanish but is kind.
Friendly, clean and many dogs
For tent camping we paid 200 pesos pp. The place is clean and pool is small but nice. The family is friendly and they have a great heart. At night it was difficult to sleep because the 10 dogs were around the tent and had some fights and were barking loud.
It’s ok here, lacks a woman’s touch., expensive 300p for the night. Friendly owner & animals. A little buggy but not horrible. Clean bathroom.
Report Check-InThe place is o.K., but expensive. Not much space. Showers and toilets are clean. Internet works sometimes and sometimes not. For me the pool was too dirty.
Report Check-InOk so this place is a dream. But it’s expensive. Prices have jumped. There is no monthly rent any more. 150 pesos per person (in Van). If you stay longer you might get it a little cheaper. We stayed for three weeks and we had to pay 4,500 pesos. The internet is questionable at best. Free to use washing machine. The best thing about this spot is the wild life. Lovable dogs, curious birds and the puppies and the friendly pet pig that loves to hangout. Ten minutes to Tulum center. Friendly owners.
Report Check-InNice location right outside of Tulum. $300 per night for two people in a van. Clean showers, bathrooms and grounds along with nice common area. Wifi decent. The only problem we had were the dogs. We love dogs and were excited to play with them when we arrived however, later when we were walking to the bathroom one of the dogs (one that would not come say hi when we first arrived) barked and lunged at us and managed to nip me. It wasn’t a huge bite but did break the skin and I’m not sure she would have backed off if the owner hadn’t come out and called her off. The next day when I was walking to the bathroom she again lunged at me and the owner had to hit her away with a rake. The owner seemed to say she is usually friendly, however, we definitely did not have that experience so be aware. Other than that nice place but not worth it because of the dog
Report Check-InLovely place. Full of birds and lots of greens. Few dogs living here that are very friendly. Also, we arrived with our two dogs and we were happily welcomed. The jabali is gorgeous!
Report Check-InSuper place, nice frendly helpful people! Quiet at night, enjoyed the stay!
Report Check-InGreat place. Paid 400 pesos (because now it's 150ppp but we negotiated it) for 3 people to sleep on our van. Pool, clean bathrooms, friendly staff, turtles, birds. Lovely place!
Report Check-InNice place in the forest near tulum. It's now 150 pesos pp for sleeping in a van.
Friendly people, little swimming pool, hotshower wifi. There is a lot of birds.
Nice place to stay near the City.
Report Check-InLong chemin cahoteux pour accéder à ce camping où trônent de vieux véhicules de chantier. Pas de vidage, 200 mxn/pers., trop cher pour la prestation.
Report Check-InNice place to stay for one or few nights, very quite, lots of annimals.
The familly living there is super welcoming and freindly, they will show you their Jabali!
The price is now 150 pesos per personne
Since the change of owners, the only comments seem to have been made by the new owners themselves. They only opened a few months ago and have already put the prices up by 50% above what they have stated in their own iOverlander advert here (above). The employee guy who welcomed us was super nice and friendly, but other than that, can't really recommend this place.
Report Check-InMuchas gracias para todo! Muy bonito y muy tranquilo - solo chingon! ;)
What a beautiful spot! It’s in the middle of the jungle and far away from the touristic Tulum - but not to far to visit the Ruins, the City or some Cenotes.
Fully equipped kitchen, clean showers and toilets and shady spots to park a camper. Maybe not good for too big rigs. Good and fast Wifi.
Eva, the owner is very friendly and helpful and so is Jorge, the guy who works there. We had a lot of fun with them. There are lots of birds, 2 dogs, cats, a pic (jabali) and chicken. We stayed there for 4 nights and enjoyed it totally! Check the Photos!
Hola!
Report Check-InPlace is nice but a bit expensive. The cost for a camping spot is now $200 per person, apparently because there's a new manager. People is friendly. Bathroom basic but clean. Wifi works fine. Pool and common areas nice too.
Report Check-InNice place, specially for the Tulum area. Pool has just been refilled. Wifi is pretty good and the owners really friendly. Met some other travelers here so that was fun. We would recommend the campground.
Watch out for the police checkpoint at the beginning of the road. They planted drugs on us while searching the vehicle. Luckily one of the people of the campground came by at the same moment. He helped us out and we could go. Just be really firm at the Police.
this place is wonderful ! it has got everything you need. the terrasse with tables and hamacs allows to spend time together really easily. it has good vibes.
Report Check-InNice spot! 100 pesos per person. They just cleaned the pool. The free washmachine is a nice touch.
Watch out! At the beginning of the road from Tulum is a police checkpoint. The cops planted drugs on us. Luckily the owner of the campground came by at the same time. He got mad at them. So be prepared on that.
Definitely worth a stay.
Exactly the kind of place we imagined when we embarked on this little trip. Down a pretty bumpy road past the abandoned industrial vehicles is a lovely part away from the awful tourism of Tulum! Settled in the jungle, near two lovely cenotes and run by super friendly people and volunteers. Oh and it's cheap and there's a pool and electricity if you have a long cord. You can fill up with water also. Well worth a visit - you could easily stay for ages!
Report Check-InEl lugar me parecio fantastico. Es un espacio rodeado por naturaleza. Se escuchan el cantar de los pajaros y la brisa del viento. La piscina es muy bella. Los baños estaban limpios. Hay agua para tomar y bañarse comodamente. Lo super rexomiendo ! Y super economico !
Report Check-InGreat place, close to the road, small rigs only, super friendly, plenty of hammocks to relax in the shade. Lots of birds and Pancho the wild boar.
