Mexico
Normally we do not put only gasstations in iOverlander, but our Navigation didn't show this one. Because there are not that many here, we put this one in. When driving direction Creel, you will have another Pemex in 121 km. from this spot. Also a quiet place to spend the night here. On the back side of Oxxo you can park. The Pemex boys will show you that spot if you ask. Not that fancy, but ok. Free to overnight. And if you follow the little road thats connecting the mainroad at Oxxo into the fields, you find enough space when that road widens after approx a mile into a wide well maintained track. Very quiet, except the "meuhs" from the local cattle herds.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Police car was on site , pump close at 8.00 pm good free stop on the way to copper canyon
Report Check-InSleep really well here, arrived when it was dark and few trucks already here but no one let there engine work so no sound. no toilet because there wasn't Agua at this time
Report Check-InPemex for the night. Couldn’t find a wild camp coming from East to West. Not the most level, parked beside Oxxo.
Report Check-InThey take credit cards! Water spigot, probably could stay the night.
