Description

Nice place to camp for a few nights. The entrance is a bit narrow, but you can make it on a motorcycle or a small car. Beautiful view, hidden from the road. Fire ring and some trees for shade or wind protection. Very calm and pleasant place.

Latest Check-Ins

Path is narrow, but nothing too woody growing into it. Car, truck, or van could make it if you want to. Definitely need decent clearance, slightly bottomed out my RAV4 (8.3”) before readjusting and barely clearing the one rutted out section. Opens up after that into a larger area with a few possible spots with 2 stone fire rings around.

Minimal bugs (relatively).
Great view and gorgeous sunset.
Plenty of area to walk around and explore. Delicious wild blueberries all over.
Some trees, but not a ton of shade.
Peaceful, can barely hear the few cars on the road.
Evidence of skeet shooting and some large sized chunks of metal around in the woods.
Pit toilets maybe a mile down the road towards Tok.

Glad I wiggled my way in, great place for my last night in Alaska.

Beautiful place with a scenic view over The Valley. Less mosquitos. PickUp clearance recommend. FirePit. Free.

Large level spot with a southwesterly view. Invisible from the road; access track is narrow and bumpy, but does not require 4WD or high clearance. Scratch resistant paint recommended... We had great weather, just a violent thunderstorm after sunset; the site offers little wind protection. Not too many bugs.

Report Check-In

nice secluded space for the night. ground fairly level and overgrown firepits at two locations (two spots available you can reach the lower by crossing through the upper). sight pretty overgrown by now but still a peaceful place in the bushes. bugs are bearable this time of the year!

Beautiful location with great view. Fit a Tacoma with Four Wheel Camper no problem.

We took the first way, arriving from chicken. One of the most beautiful places we stayed through our travel through north. Little windy but with a fantastic view. Absurd amounts of blueberries and cranberries.

Nice place. You can barely hear the cars from the street. View is pretty cool.
There's two dirt roads only a few meters apart. Take the second one coming from south. It takes you further away from the hwy and has better views.
The road is kinda grown over, so oly for small vehicles.
There's a rest area with pit toilets at the hwy only 500 m away.

Report Check-In

Looked good but the entrance is indeed narrow so we couldn’t get in (GMC 2500). We continued our way to Tok and took a other side road instead.
