Nice quiet wooded spot. plenty of space when we were there. arrived late in the rain and host came by soon after to collect and make sure we understood the gate was locked overnight. I don't think you can stay here if you're taking the early ferry because the gate is locked until 7am.

Wendy is a wonderful host! Lovely site - would stay again.

Nice provincial campground, pits were clean, and wasn't too noisy. Lots of trees for privacy. Lake wasn't swimmable as far as we could tell, and we tried the nearby day use area and that wasn't swimmable either unfortunately. $20 for the night.

Report Check-In

Was too busy on the weekend to get a spot. Lots of garbage bins and pit toilets, well taken care of. $20/night

Report Check-In

Stayed here for 2 nights after the ferry. Nice little Campground but don't camp here if you come from the ferry. It's too far in the night and pitch black when you arrive. We arrived at 01:30 in the night because we were delayed and the boarding process on this ferry is slow compared to other bc Ferries.

Good Campground with searated spots.
Close to the lake, great for sunset. Pit toilets and a water pump for portable water available.
As its close to the highway you can hear the trucks flying by, but its fine over night.

Came here after checking Pr.Rupert's campground, full, no privacy and expensive. Nice and big sites. Mostly reserved, we were lucky that some rv's left. Had site 5. Close to the rd, so rd.noise. As there were many people, incl. a group of 15-18 year schoolclass, it was not as quiet as we wished for. Accustomed to boondocking in silent and quiet nature, we thought this campground a bit too busy..
Costs 20$ p.night

Report Check-In

Definitely open! $20 per night, collected by campsite operator. No water or electricity or showers. We elected to stay here for two nights. We unhitched the truck and drove to Prince Rupert and Port Edward for sight-seeing. Beautiful sites. This is smallish campground so it might be difficult to get a place on the weekends. We managed to get a good cell signal at Site #3.
