Nice place to sleep one night. Near from the boardwalk and a lot of restaurants. A bit noisy before midnight but very quiet after.

Great spot within 10 min walk of Halifax Harbour. 3 ca pers here tonight, spaced apart... TONS of room, probably because it's a weekend. Security patrolling, noone seems to care :)

Excellent site, free evenings and weekends. Stayed for the weekend, quiet and no problems.

Saturday, July 31, having dinner at 5:30 pm with a visiting friend in this empty parking lot. As we are eating a port security gard shows up and tells us to leave. We ask him why since it says at the toll booth Free Parking until Aug.2 2021 05:00 AM. He tells us aggressively that we have 10 minutes to leave. We tell him it will take us more than 10 minutes to set up. We ask him if we can park next door, to which he says yes. We start our move to go next door. He then reaches us next door to say that we have until sun down to leave that spot also. That's when we figured that this guy is not worth talking to. He said he will have police to kick us out. More than one hour later officer Cross shows up and we asked him why we can't stay here overnight. He said we can and that he would talk to that security guard and come back to us. He came back, said police should not have been called for this, asked us how we liked Halifax so far, what we visited, a very polite educated police officer.

Still $10 max during the day (8am-6pm), and free overnight. Close to shops and boardwalk along the water. No problem parking. I would assume any non cruise ship day there is plenty of room. There are bathrooms in the farmers market area, not sure when they close. Also WiFi if you walk a bit closer into town.

Yark!!! It’s not a good place for overnight! 2 boats makes noise with the horn all night because of the smogs! A lot of truck with cargo come and go all night! We verified all parking start at quai 21 and more. For visiting ok but for overnight forget it if you want to sleep!
Pire endroit pour passer la nuit! Suite au smog plusieurs sirènes se font entendre (même si j’avais des bouchons). Le transport de marchandises avec véhicules lourds toutes la nuit! Toutes les stationnements c’est du pareil au même à partir du quai 21! Pour la visite du boardwalk d’Halifax c’est parfait parce qu’il commence à cette endroit. Toutes les grosseurs de motorisé trouveront une place!

Could become busy in the morning with all the tourist buses and cruise ships.
Otherwise, downtown HFX, some wifi can be access depending where you are park. 1h for free or 24h package.

the large parking lot across from pier 21 and the cunard shipping. large rigs ok in the lot across the road. I have posted a sign.

No day parking for big rigs during the day. It’s way too busy and packed full of cars. Don’t even bother trying. We wasted a good half hour trying to get here based on the info here.

Absolutely great. Relatively quiet and nobody bothered us. Even better was the nearby Farmers market, and Norbert’s Good Food for healthy and reasonably priced breakfast

parking indigo, gratuit le week-end et la nuit. (consultez les horaires sur les bornes.) pas de wc, les lampadaires reste allumés toute la nuit ! visite de Halifax à pied de ce parking.
