Description
Two big baddocks, surrounded by trees, near a small stream. One long drop toilet, fireplace, seating benches. Apparently, the place is being maintained by somebody. At the time we visited, we were the only ones there and nobody came around to collect money. Can't guarantee this is a free site, though.

Re-visited 6 years later. Still a nice place. Not spectacular, but decent for a night or two. They have now installed a volleyball net and a small jetty. So by the looks of it, it might be more heavily used during the weekends. There's actually another site opposite of the river. To get to the other site, coming from the A4, take the last turnoff before the bridge. To get to this one, take the first one after the bridge. :)
