Description

Next to the capilla del Cristo. Street parking by the river. 4G working ok. Some locals around. At night just the river, nobody around. Asked the police, told us ok overnight parking.
Beautiful spot for free. Lots of puddles in the river. Nice. This time of year holidays are over not many people around. There are grills for BBQ. This place is totally free. No lifeguards around so be careful. There is no garbage service so pack in pack out.

Super nice place to visit and spend the day. Some locals around with music during the day. Stayed two nights, before and after going to Tamasopo falls. Free, quite nights. Stayed on the big grassy parking lot. Recommended.

We stayed at the end of the street where it dead ends - a little busy on a Sunday night but overall quiet by 11p and GREAT swimming in the morning even in January!

we sleep here 2 nights but where the road finish. very nice place, we ask the police and they say that is safe and they were coming all night. Nice people! first night quiet and second night tipical México with cars and music!

Report Check-In

We parked beside the road 2 blocks before the “Cristo”.
There were public parrillas/barbecue.
The place seems calm and safe we stayed with other travelers 4 nights.

Eran 20 min caminando.

Checked this place out, lots of cars and people around. Did not seem very safe to us, we asked some locals and they mentioned there have been a few thefts in the area. Did not stay.

Report Check-In

Local guy at the little restaurant recommended parking in a well lit location, which gave us a bit of a concern but the night was peaceful and a beautiful place to wake up. A pack of dogs at the restaurant too, bringing your own would likely result in a barking match. Recommended.

All the magic disappear.
